no whining here...
Of course everyone knew the rules of the Texas mess, and of course Clinton did too. My objections weren't that she didn't fare as well in the caucuses, they were to the system itself. It needs trashed before another election. And our Party needs to seriously consider a whole range of things now that we've gone through this horrorshow campaign.
And, I don't like being lied to. Republicans did not vote so that Hillary would win the primary; they voted by seven points more for Obama than for Clinton, and it's wrong for Obama backers to keep claiming the opposite.
Calls for truth aren't whines. Not where I come from.

Darlin', tarring and feathering is a physical punishment, at least as old as the Crusades, used to enforce formal justice in feudal Europe and informal justice in Europe and its colonies in the early modern period, as well as the early American frontier, mostly as a type of mob vengeance.

"I can only read minds when they're spoken in interviews"
Yes, but that is of course assuming that everything a politician says in an interview is the gospel. Which, I think we're all adult enough to admit, isn't necessarily the case. There certainly is a lot of other reasons Richardson would endorse Obama having nothing to do with her campaign. Also, I"m not sure "kind of" is particularly strong phrasing. And since he's also on record as saying "both sides" have gotten overly negative, it's hardly "The" reason or even a distinguishing one.

"She has lost in many caucuses because her supporters do not know the rules."
Wow. That's a pretty damning statement to make. Implicit in that assertion is that Obama only won those caucuses because his supporters knew how to _game_ the rules. Tsk, tsk, tsk. I wonder where "the popular vote" fits into that scenario? Looks like your subconscious outed you on this one, lol.
In any case, you'd better hope the Obama camp has more aces up their sleeve come November. Because that election will be a much harder one to "game", kiddo.

Obama has too much baggage?
Obama will not be elected president. He has too much baggage starting with his criminal buddy in Chicago
Obama's baggage is nothing compared to Hillary's. Whitewater, travelgate, billing-gate, Castle Grande, and many more. And possibly huge problem for Hillary is her upcoming trial, Paul v. Clinton. The hearing is set for April 25, 2008 which will set the date for the trial. During this trial, the facts will come out, most notably how she received $1.2 million in campaign donations, trying to hide some of it by assigning some of the donations to other people. Stan Lee of Spiderman gave sworn testimony on how he never gave any money to the Hillary Senate campaign even though the campaign registered $225,000 from Lee. I find it quite interesting that the media does not report this. Some media bias.

Calls for truth aren't whines. Not where I come from
Where do you come from? How condescending and assinine of you to project your uppity bi-furcated morality on people who disagree with you. I know where you come from. No need to elaborate on your rather superior posts on Salon.com. Let's see you acknowledge the truth on Clinton lies, eg her own campaign back pedalling on her Bosnia sniper experience, and then I will concede that you are indeed calling for "truth."
But in the meantime, your double standards only hide a certain class and race bias. That's where you come from.
Sorry all for this. But I am sick and tired of this quack's moral and racial superiority.

stuff 3
While I do still (slightly) prefer Hillary, let's not go overboard on the Obama criticism. "Just like Bush" is perhaps the nastiest thing I've seen this week, and I just sat through a Saw movie marathon, parts (and I mean "parts" I to VI
He's nothing like Bush--he'd be an excellent President.
He's nothing like Bush--he'd be a very good President.
He's nothing like Bush--he'd be a good President.
He's nothing like Bush--even if he were an average President.
He's nothing like Bush--even if he were simply a bad President.
He's nothing like Bush--even if he were terrible President.
hmm, this could go on for a while, huh?
Anyway, I'd be greatly happy with an Obama Presidency. Just like to keep his supporters on their toes (or prehensile tails, whichever)

correction
it should be $1.2 million in illegal campaign donations

Wow
"Should the Obama campaign be chastised as racist for using the term " tarring"? I know the Clinton campaign would be raked over the coals for the use of the same word."
Can you be this ignorant of history?

"I find it quite interesting that the media does not report this. Some media bias."
The media bias is for ratings, and a contested, rancorous convention would be ratings gold for them. They'll orchestrate which stories get played up and which don't to keep this thing going on and on all they to Denver. If Hillary Clinton gains substancial momentum after Pennsylvania, rest assured, we'll be seeing her Bosnian trip, her "I always opposed NAFTA" lies, the Paul v. Clinton trial, all the old clinton scandals...they'll try to tip the scales back to Obama. They play the public like a fiddle.

Playing is not gaming
Playing by the rules is not gaming them.
And if someone declares themselves the Experienced Candidate and the Ready on Day One candidate, then I expect them to kick ass and win handily, especially against an upstart, because those were the expections that were set. It's what I believed last year. The Experienced Candidate is supposed know all the stupid and arcane shit like the back of her hands. At least that's what I think of as experienced. If they don't do that, it's only natural to question how experienced and ready they are. I think it's fair to think Hillary is the better candidate, but how she has run her campaign should give anyone pause. She's not going to have much time to make corrections if she gets the nomination in August.

@Uncle Fester
Agree 100%. The Clinton camp had their asses handed to them in this nomination process. And it all started going downhill after one critical event:
The Obama campaign accused the Clintons of being racist.
They were floored by that punch and never recovered. All of their actions and everything else that has happened to them since then has its roots in that one event.
Which brings me back to my earlier post regarding Obama. Treasonous Hypocrite.
