Matthews is a journalist?
Since when? It's clear to me that he's always willing to give his opinion, and he doesn't try to hide it, or appear "impartial" like other media sources. I wouldn't call his show, Hardball, "news" either.
So find another way to discredit him. It probably won't be hard. Just remember, did the media focus more on how the Clintons reacted to the Richardson endorsement than how the public views it? Or who else has complained about the erasure of the Scooter Libby pardon from the media's consciousness?
Feel free to shoot the messenger, but save some bullets for the message.
