Letters to the Editor

Thik this will make it to TV?
I hope so.
-
Maybe she lied.
Perhaps she's so desperate to win that she'll say or do anything.
Just a thought.
-
The headline I wish you'd used
"Sinbad calls out Hillary Clinton"
-
Serial exaggeration is Hillary's stock in trade
Her "experience" is mostly just made up. She has 7 years in the Senate, most of which she has been running for POTUS. Other than that, it's all bullshit.
-
It is possible she lied.
That is what were calling it now, misspeaking.
I remember one time I was King of France, wait I'm sorry I misspoke, I meant to say, I once ate a croissant.
-
Obama lied about hearing Wright's racist sermons
We don't know how many sermons Obama heard but we know he's lying about never hearing Wright spew his vile, racist, anti-semitic hate speech.
-
Obama lied about opposing disenfranchisement
Barry Obama doesn't want Florida and Michigan voters to have a voice in the Democratic primary process because he knows he will lose in both states.
BO's lawyers threw up roadblocks to the re-vote process because BO doesn't want voters to vote. He wants to win as the affirmative action candidate who "got the most votes" minus TWO STATES.
-
Thank god for the internet
Misspoke? How about exaggerated and lied. Nepotism is alive and well in America and so is stark racism. Hillary is being coddled by the MSM. She should have been run out a long time ago. It is time for Edwards and Gore to endorse. I don't care who they endorse, but it is time they put their political principles to the test.
-
Everyone knows combat zones are dangerous
Except perhaps Barry Obama, who never met a terrorist sponsor he didn't want to negotiate with without preconcessions.
-
How do you tell when a politician is lying?
You were expecting honesty in a political campaign for the presidency of the united states?
They are all liars, corporate shills and warmongers.
When can we expect honesty from journalists?
It would seem that like politicians, they are all liars, corporate shills and warmongers.
-
How Would This Stack Up Against
I didn't know about any of that stuff for 20 years. I just saw it. I'll give a speech in a couple days about it.
-
Hey lolcai
If you were right, this headline would be He, not she.
Since you're not, it isn't.
Ohh, I'm sorry you were just practicing misspeaking.
I didn't get it you were being sarcastic.
-
Surprised?
No. Hillary Rodham Clinton does have experience, just not the type to which she would like to lay claim. Frankly, none of the three candidates has anything like the type of executive experience needed to "be ready on day one." Let's face facts here. We have a protracted occupation, a truly lousy economy and serious challenges in the areas of healthcare, immigration and education. I don't think anyone will be able to waltz in and wave a magic wand over the nation and make everything alright.
However, the problem for HRC is that she clearly feels that she needs to make these kinds of false statements just to stay in the game. I don't believe that she does or has ever needed to but she does and so do her advisors. The steady drip-drip-drip of "I misspoke" will not help drive voters to her cause precisely because it reminds them of one of the key problems of the Clinton years: dishonesty.
-
"misspoke"?
She lied. She also lied about "I was never for NAFTA.""
The media isn't really covering it to the point of, oh say, the good Rev. Wright, because they want to keep her in the race, and they'd LOVE to see her get the nomination. If she does manage to get herself nominated then we'll be seeing this stuff everywhere 24 hours a day.
-
"I have a follow up"
"What did you intend to say when you 'misspoke.' Please clarify your remarks now in such a way that they are truthful and could show how you accidentally told a long, detailed story that was not based on the facts. Twice."
-
And Obama lied about his entire Illinois Senate history

Sinbad for Secretary of the Navy
That'll give the Iranians something to think about.
-
{sniffle} loicat
Mommy, the big scary Black man's preacher said something that confused my uber-patriotism...we have to vote for the pro-war guys now, right?
-
@lolcait
What Obama doesn't want is the possibility of rigged voting as has clearly already occurred in OH and TX and appears to be occurring in PA. The most recent primaries were marked by Republicans voting in the Dem primary knowing that they had no need to vote for their guy in order for him to win. That's unacceptable.
The rules are the rules. Obama didn't make this problem so why is it up to him to solve it? Any answers lolcait?

Joan Walsh commentary coming on Hillary's lies
So Hillary is proving to be a serial liar, just like her husband. Looks like the ability to spin, obfuscate and just flat out lie was the most salient experience she got out of being First Lady. Since Joan Walsh jumps on every syllable Obama utters in order to question him at every possible turn, I assume (since Joan is such an honest and fair journalist) we will now be reading her take on the growing body of Clinton's lies about her ... ahem .. "record." Or not, unless of course it is to make excuses for these lies. Salon, please get a real journalist as editor.
-
ouch
If and when this video ever makes it to a TV near you, you can stick a fork in her, cuz she'd done. D. O. N. E.
Still, there is a the bright side for the astroturf Clinton supporters (*cough* lolcait *cough*): this letters section should give y'all a great opportunity to desperately lash out with your most tired and ineffective anti-Obama shrieks in another feeble attempt to change the subject.

I like Hillary Clinton, just not the person she's running as
This is what has been bothering me about HRC throughout this campaign.
Had she just told the truth it would have been a pretty significant and interesting story in my opinion. No, she wasn't under fire or negotiating the opening of the boarders (a claim she's since backed off of, thankfully), but yes, she was in a war zone. I don't think that's easy to discount, as others who've done USO tours have commented.
But she couldn't do that. Again and again she exaggerates her involvement in past events, again and again she presents herself in a calculated way. She has a warm and charming laugh and some genuine sincerity to her, but she won't let that out for fear of not being appealing. She is smart and skillful bureaucrat, but she didn't single-handedly negotiate the peace in Northern Ireland. She knows a lot about being president from having witnessed it first hand, but she wasn't running that show and can't claim to have been a part of that administration (unless of course she wants to run on not being able to get a health care plan through congress).
It's frustrating. I like her when she's not being calculating or exaggerating to some poll-driven end. I could see myself voting for that Hillary, if she ran.
Anyway, don't let me stand in the way of this turning into the usual stew of allegations from the supporters of both camps - I'm looking forward to both sides explaining to me how the other side is evil and their backers are tools and liars.
