I'm Not Going To Rank Them
Let's just suffice to say that what Clinton and Obama have done and said, and what they are now saying and doing has all been done and said for their own political purposes, and what they felt either improved their position at the time or would do so in the future.
The holier than thou game is over. I think it's even finally starting to sink in to the Obama supporters now.

Who would have Michelle brought along?
Tony Rezko? Jeremiah Wright? Oprah?. . . at least the first two fall a couple of notches below Sinbad,I think, and certainly the whole imaginary 4 some is way behind Sheryl Crow in humanity and good sense.
Lets not lose perspective here Mr. Mark Benjamin. While Hillary was on her humanitarian trips to Bosnia and other places, like China and devastated places in Africa (more that any first lady, before or since ever did), what was Obama doing? Durgs? playing victim? destroying the reputation of his political foes? or maybe sealing deals with Tony Rezko?
What a little mock Fox News site Salon is turning out to be. Lets just say I am glad I never signed up for the "Premium" version.

Clinton's worst habit...
as a candidate, is to brag about 'strenghts' she has over Obama that will turn around and become great weaknesses in comparison to McCain. She has experience! (McCain has far more) She's older! (McCain is far older) She's done a lot of legislating! (McCain [and Obama, actually] has done more). She's an international expert! (McCain's foreign affairs credentials are far stronger) And now, she has combat zone experience! (McCain... you get the idea)
On the other hand, Obama's strengths against Clinton will stand as strengths against McCain.

The military also has different accounts than Hillary
When the guys on the ground have a different story than Mrs. Wanna-be Commander -and the photos to prove it, then you know the storyteller' was likely in some cushy spot -but needs a good fake war story to tell the kids.
This is an account from the very base she visited in the Spring of '96 with Sinbad - his account is the truthful one. No gunfire.
http://www.dtic.mil/bosnia/talon/tal19960329.pdf.
And more interestingly another account from a different source verifying that 'troop moral boosting visit by the Clinton's, with no mention of gunfire or security issues- because the President had just extended their deployments.

Note the mention of Rumsfeld's KBR getting big contracts there too.

@ hazmaq
Swiftboating much?
That is exactly the same kind of smearing that the Swiftboat Veterans for the Truth did to John Kerry? Good job hazmaq. I much rather believe in Hillary, the same way I did believe John Kerry 4 years ago.
20 years under the spiritual tutelage of Jeremiah Wright seem much more troublesome that a contradictory account of events . . .
-
@SobeOne
Linking articles contemporaneous to the event is not "swiftboating". I know you didn't read the links, because the first link does not lead to an article, though it can be found in HTML through a google search.
-
@ Snakes
The Swiftboat Veterans did show contemporaneous recollections of events too, and they also swore their veracity.
That is al the Obama campaign has been doing, Swiftboat Hillary while Obama plays the racial victim. A good strategy, but gladly one that is showing to have short and weak legs.
-
@SobeOne
Care to link an independent account which supports the Swiftboater's claims against Kerry? Unlike the links provided, there is no contemporaneous military account which buttressed the Swiftboaters.
As for your comment on Obama's spiritual advisor, show me a person who believes in every comment a spiritual advisor makes. I certainly don't support my Church's views on homosexuality, but I haven't stopped attending Church. There are millions of Christians who believe in gay rights, abortion rights, and stem cell research who still attend church regularly.
Personally, I didn't think most of the comments that are the cause of the furore were outrageous. There are many progressives, and even libertarians, who have made such statements. The only ones I reject, that I have read of, are his statements on government ties to AIDS and drugs

I'm sorry, Hillary
I was stationed in Bosnia during the time Hillary, Sheryl, and Sinbad visited our camp (I was with Quarterhorse at the time). Though I was stationed in Camp Molly, I was invited to go to Camp (darn it, can't remember the name of the camp) to eat lunch with Hillary and her daughter.
This was a pretty cool moment for all of us, even those who hated Clinton, which was weird. But celebrity brings out the worst in people (Sinbad and Crow were not at the lunch.)
In advance of her visit, all of us were told to empty our rifles of all ammo and to lock the slide back to prove that we had nothing in the chamber. We were also not allowed to carry any ammo for the time she and her crew were in the camp.
So I ask you, if it was so bad out there, why did we have to (essentially) lay down our arms. What if there was an attack? And as far as sniper fire is concerned, there was really no place for someone to set up at a distance and get a shot off.
And to put another nail in her coffin, during the time she was there, NOTHING was going on. It was only during the first rough six weeks, and the elections (Bosnian elections, not the Clinton re-election) that anything violent happen. And most of the violence had to do with land mines or Serbs and Muslims fighting over bombed out villages in the ZOS. And her party was ANNOUNCED, meaning that anyone who wanted to could plan an attack way in advance.
It saddens me that she would try to trump up something in order to gain on Obama. In the age of Youtube, the Internet in general, and 24-hour news, these candidates should know that wild claims (or ANY claim) will get checked and re-checked by not just journalists but bloggers, political pundits, and everyday people like me who witnessed the "danger". Both candidates need to beware and instead focus on defeating McCain, which, until recently, seemed to be a slam dunk.
So Hillary, "A change would do you good."
