Let me put it to the fine readers of Salon
Would you attend a church, mosque or synagogue if your religious leader "Priest/Pastor, Rabbi or Imam" subjected the congregation to what amounts as hate speech? Would you brush off this speech as generational or not indictive of your personal beliefs? Would you allow your kids to be influenced by this so called "Religious Scholar" or would you simply walk away and find another place of worship that was similar to your own personal beliefs? I guess to me the answer seems rather easy...
