  • Spinning Wheel Got To Go Round

Mark Penn, Wolfson and the Clinton's have been spinning so long and hard that they are beginning to remind me of how spinners stagger like drunks and bump into each other while spinning. They can't see straight, they can't speak straight, they can't remember what they said 5 minutes ago and they certainly can't think straight. They want the brass ring so badly that they can't do the noble things it takes to win. Too bad, so sad.

All clear thinking non-spinning American's will see through the false impressions and fear mongering now coming from members of the democratic establishment (the Clinton's) and the republican press (FOX). Speaker Pelosi got it right this week in an interview with George Stephanopolous when she said: 'This nomination process is a contest for delegates' and the candidate who recieves the most delegates in the caucuses and primaries will win. This will be decided before the convention.

Thanks for the best laugh since I started political blogging. Perfect!

  • Wright is a real problem for Obama

I think KateTex is right about this.

I spoke to my sister from upstate New York today. She does not pay very much attention to politics (and certainly doesn't read things like Salon or Talkingpointsmemo), and it takes a lot for something to appear on her political radar. The Spitzer scandal was big enough to be noticeable. And so was were the Wright videos. Needless to say, she was appalled, and has now concluded that if Obama has associated himself with someone like Wright, she doesn't see how she could vote for someone like Obama.

There are many many similar folks out there who I'm sure feel the same way.

If Obama is the nominee, you can be sure these tapes will be played over and over again in campaign ads for McCain.
