Fearless warrior
So our dear leader is envious of the poor souls fighting in our name in Afghanistan, is he? I guess that's understandible, given the fact that he's a veteran of defending golf courses and marinas in Texas against the Viet Cong, that is until he got bored with it and walked away. I can just imagine his sorry ass in Afghanistan. The first hostile he saw headed his way would cause him to piss his pants, throw his weapon away, and run, crying for his mama. To think that this sorry waste of space bears the title of POTUS is almost too much to bear.

George in Afghanistan, George in Vietnam
I think George had a chance for that "romantic" involvement he speaks of when he WAS young and Vietnam was going on. He ran as fast as he could the other way.
I wonder if he thinks it's romantic enough for his daughters to join in the fray?
A good friend of mine.. in his 80's now.. had some sage observations... first, that all of the very decrepit cars rolling around by people who are working two jobs are the ones who have all of the "support our troops" stickers on them. And when he goes to parties (he's an artist) where all of the ultra-wealthy are in attendance he noted that he has yet to see one "support our troops" sticker on any of their Mercedes, BMW's, etc.

or maybe in the tx air national guard
"I must say, I'm a little envious. If I were slightly younger and not employed here, I think it would be a fantastic experience to be on the front lines of helping this young democracy succeed"

I don't care about the topic, Evilbush did something, yadda yadda
I'm just trying to get to my letters link and there is no other way to do it than making a new posting.
Yes, I should have made a bookmark but I forgot. And no, my history is empty, I went to some porn sites last nite after which I was forced to empty my cache. So sue me. Salon should have a link to one's own letter collection once logged in.
Anyway, might as well tell you that we had a blustery day in San Diego, froze my ass of in the 65 degree wind and the bromeliad nursery I drove to Encinitas for had gone bust months ago. Some fox tail palms were on sale at Home Depot but it was a poor consolation.
And now it's raining.
Life is hard.
