Letters to the Editor

This letter is associated with the following article:
At a press conference in his Manhattan office, Spitzer says, "I cannot allow my private failings to disrupt the people's work."
  • It was time to go...

But let's not get it twisted. All those dirtbags who scamed the public and produced biased research to get investment banking business while claiming it was independent and who beat the little guys on mutual fund 12b1 fees and breakpoints and who sold little old ladies variable annuities instead of fixed annuities deserved to be hosed by Spitzer.

Just because he's a whoremonger doesn't absolve those dirtabgs of their wrongdoings. In the end, it apears Spitzer had more in common with them and the likes of garbage like Joe Bruno than one would have orginally thought.
