    Waht he should have done

    Spitzer could have followed in the footsteps of "virtues czar" Bill Bennett and withdrawn the money to gamble in Atlantic City and use some of that to pay the prostitute. Nobody invstigated Bennett even after supposedly losing an average of $800K per year for ten years.
