now we know.....
......why the patriot act is so vital. If Bushco did not have the authority to eavesdrop on Americans, we might never have known about Eliot Spitzer's daliances with a prosititute. I feel so much safer knowing that Bush is spying on Eliot Spitzer.

"I said that "Barack Obama is winning the delegate count and the popular vote, and unless something changes drastically in the dozen or so remaining contests, that's likely to remain true until the last votes are cast."
How can you possibly disagree with that? "
Where did I disagree with that? I said it was possible she'd get the popular vote. I actually said it was "likely" Obama would be the nominee. So where exactly did I "disagree" with this statement? You said my arguments were "irrelevant" because everybody knew the "rules". I said one of the rules was that once nobody got the magic number, it becomes an argument, not an automatic crowning of someone who has more delegates. To quote you, "how can you possibly disagree with that?"
"I never said that Obama had this thing locked up"
No, you said my arguments were irrelevant, which is semantically different but substantively the same
"that's irrelevant to my point, which is that Obama is winning and will probably go into the convention with more pledged delegates and popular votes."
that wasn't your point. That's a probability, not a point. Your "point" was based on that probability, was that he is accordingly made the nominee and one can't argue that, that everything else is "irrelevant".
"It's becoming increasingly obvious that you just like to argue with people on the internet. So you have fun with that"
yes, here we go again. Same smug condescension I've decried. Way to make my point. Yes, it couldn't be that I actually have a point. Or an argument to make (an argument you completely and conveniently ignored). Or that I think it's important to call people on sloppy thinking. Or that I think this is important. It's "just because I like to argue on the net"--how convenient for you. So nice that it means you don't have to actually examine any of your statements or thinking or argument. Nope--that guy "just likes to argue"--no need for me to think on my end. Yes, how convenient.
