Bush, reluctant to give up the spotlight, endorses McCain

In a Rose Garden press conference, the incumbent president delivered his endorsement, but seemed to think the moment was his, not John McCain's.

    As if Bush has worried over that for even a single moment.

    I was watching McCain's speech last night, and I cannot honestly imagine how anyone can get excited over this guy. Truly, he has served his country, but at this point, and at his age there is nothing new in the offing. Just four more years of George W. Bush's bungled and failed policies.
