Clinton: "Maybe we should ask Barack Obama if he's comfortable and needs another pillow." Watch live now.
  • "minutiae"?

    Farhad,

It's no surprise that someone who is healthy, young and affluent, like yourself, would find a marginally detailed discussion of health care policy a "morass of health care policy minutiae." I expect more depth, and a less dismissive attitude from a Salon contributor. Maybe, you might spend a bit of your time investigating the details of Obama's charge that Hillary Clinton "even" faced opposition from members of her own party in the 1993 effort to pass a health care plan. It's true indeed. The plan went down because of characters like former Louisiana Senator, John Breaux, a Democrat who the oil industry had in their back pocket, a guy who played a central role in the demise of the health care plan. The very fact that Obama thinks that people like Breaux could have been part of some meaningful effort to provide universal health care suggests a he is rather naive.
