Huckabee's populism
apparently relies on backdoor politicking. Nice job, Huckster.
This whole thing stinks. And with this story about McCain lying about his denials, his ties to lobbyists, etc., it's looking like Huckabee could theoretically pull this coup d'etat off at the RNC. What do Democrats do then? We have a solidly conservative Republican that the rank and file will come out in droves for. As opposed to John McCain, who can't energize a crowd at all.
I wonder if it's been Huckabee's strategy all along to just coast through the primaries and pick up his votes by arm twisting and outright theft at the convention. I have a feeling many of the people who voted for McCain over Huckabee aren't gonna like Huckster negating their vote.

If the huckster can drag his campaign onto the convention floor...
... my crystal ball shows three likely scenarios:
a.) McCain will punch him out and leave him bleeding in a bathroom where he is subsequently molested Larry Craig.
c.) McCain will tell him to F- off and die from the podium during prime time.
d.) The rapture will suddenly happen during the republican convention leaving behind only.... oh crap, they're all still there.

Huck for prez
If he gets the nomination, the Democrats win in a landslide! The man doesn't believe in science. There is a reason most Republicans have not been voting for him. I very much doubt he would pull in fiscal conservatives at all, much less any independents. Case in point: my conservative Republican family loathes him.

fun as it would be
to see HRC or Obama mop the floor with Huckabee, it's not gonna happen. He's a nice guy, but...Delusional.

Hucks forgetting something...
The big business wing of the GOP pays the bills and has no use for the culture war. Huckabee aint throwing them any bones. Bush got the nomination because he sucked both sides dicks, Huck only seems to want the one. He fell for the same trick the GOP voters did, he thinks the party leaders and fundraisers actually give a rats ass about gay marriage and abortion, they don't. It's all a scam to get the stupid hicks in the voting boths. Apparently Huck is one of them.

Tax exempt?
Is Focus on the Family a tax exempt religious organization? If so, why?
-
RE: Tax exempt?
Yes, Focus on the Family is tax exempt.
Why? Surely you jest. I thought it was quite apparent that it is a handmaiden of the forces interested in dumbing down the population to produce docile workers and unquestioning cannon fodder for the military. In other words, it is a bastion of ignorance reenforcing the Fascist State.
