Chris Matthews goes on the attack against an Obama surrogate.
  • SIGNIFICANT examples please

Here we go, now we get to endure the Obama resume bloaters - where "co-sponsored", "supported", and "helped" suddenly in candy-land is the exact equivalent of author and then pass a fukkin law.

Obama has been in the Senate for three years, when has his name ever come up related to anything controversial or important? Where has he shown any SIGNIFICANT leadership at all in the Senate? When has he ever been a goto guy in the Senate?

Look at how often Obama has been in the news concerning critical senate matters in the last three years. Now look how often McCain or CLinton has been in the news concerning important Senate legislation in the last three years. Compare and contrast. You don't have to like McCain or Clinton positions to know they as of today are doers and leaders in more things than getting elected.

Obama is selling you on the idea thet he will become that great leader, but for Christmas sake at least admit he is not that much of a leader now.

And sorry running an excellent campaign is no sign of a great national leader. It's a sign of a great campaigner. Look at GW. He got his sorry unqualified butt elected time after time and has demonstrated zero leadership skills in between his campaigns. Deval Patrick is another example of great campaigner, lousy leader and I am sure there are many examples of this in the Congress.

So if you are going into this on the HOPE that Obama can CHANGE and develop into a great leader, then fine, the hope and change jingle has even more resonance.
