Bullcap
For the record, oh master of condescension, I'm a 61 year old Vietnam era veteran, grandfather of four, father of four, married to the same woman for almost 38 years. I worked on the Robert Kennedy campaign in '68 when I was 21. I've been waiting since then for someone to spark that same kind of energy and positive sense of common purpose. I thought I saw it in Gary Hart, a little. Nope. I thought I saw some in John Edwards, and I still do. But Obama's campaign is charting new waters, not the turgid Potomac that Hillary swims in. It's not that she's not a qualified candidate, or a good woman, or a fine Senator. It's that she does not inspire; never has, never will. It's a gift. You can rain all over the parade and join the Billary Bunch in claiming he's all talk and she's all action. That's not the point. The American people- you know, bill, WE the people- need to be galvanized into taking some very drastic actions. the Bush years have been an unmitigated Katrina sized disaster in every arena. Global warming requires immediate, sacrificial change. Yeah, that word: change. It doesn't mean four quarters for a buck, bucko. It mean the ability to make folks believe again that this country can rise toward its long unmet ideals. Maybe you and Cindy McLame are proud of this country no matter what, but I'm not. I'm not proud of Iraq. I'm not proud of Guantanemo. I'm not proud of crumbling education and infrastructure. Change, bill. Change. Hillary is not it. She should see beyond herself, and get busy making November a reality. It's going to take all of us. The fascists will not relinquish power without a bloody fight. I'm ready. How 'bout you, bill?

Hillary is done but...
...she still has money and she'll play till March 4th. She'll probably lose anyway but I think tonights win is a big deal. I was actually fearing a Clinton win or it to be very close. She lost by 17%. 17? Seriously, how do you think you are going to win any other state with that type of showing in a strong mid-west state like Wisconsin?
It's sad that all the media have to play the game, but I think they all know she's done with. Everyone else knows it too, even a good part of her supporters. Time to move on and not drag this out anymore. She will look excellent if she concedes after March 4th. If she fights all the way, she'll lose any chance of being a potential party leader. I think she should go home and just kick ass in the Senate. Her potential there for democrats is greater than if she was in the White House.

"I've been waiting since then for someone to spark that same kind of energy and positive sense"
Perhaps you should consider actually abiding by that sense of inspiration and positive sense then, as opposed to employing childish insults. Or the insipidly demeaning "Billary". And still so clever--bull instead of bill. Oh, to be so facile with language. Yes, I can see how "Common Sense" was written in its original draft: "King George is a poopie-head! He is, he is, he is! Nyah Nyah Nyah" If that couldn't inspire a nation to revolution, what could?
"claiming he's all talk and she's all action"
except of course I never did claim such a thing, so by accusing me of doing so aren't you using the same "turgid Potomac" style of political attack?
"Change, bill. Change. Hillary is not i"
Please. Hillary is no change from Bush? This is the same Naderesque--"the two parties are exactly the same" kind of silliness that helped get us the past eight years of utter disaster. not what I'd expect from someone with the resume you cite. It's just ridiculous. You want to argue that Obama would be "more" of a change--feel free. Their position differences don't show that much but feel free. But to argue that he is a change from Bush and she is not is just silly. To be charitable.
And if you want half the party to vote with you to stop the fascists (and I bow to nobody in my utter contempt for Bush and his supporting republicans in the Congress), then perhaps you all should stop decrying the roughly 50 percent of the party that votes for Hillary. Perhaps you should stop telling them they are part of some sleaze machine, stop telling them they should just give up. Perhaps you should stop pretending their votes and desires don't matter. Stop pretending Obama is somehow "sweeping" to a crowning. Wouldn't they be part of that "We the People"? Guess not, huh? As I said, a bit ironic coming from people allegedly voting for a "uniter"

Nice straw person. Hillary is the one saying that she's all action and Obama is all talk. Of course, a well trained lab rat would be a step up from Bushit. I do think Bill, first, and now Hillary, are triangulators by trade. Enough. You don't start a compromising process by capitulating before the bargaining begins- or giving King Georgie (who is, undeniably, a poopie head) a blank check for Iran in the same way she signed one for Iraq. She has yet to apologize or admit a mistake. She began this campaign with a huge lead in money, name recognition, and double digit leads everywhere. Gone. All gone. Obama out worked her, out thought her, out organized her, and kicked her ample ass from coast to coast. I doesn't take a keen eye to discern a pattern, but it apparently escapes you. Smells of hydrogen sulfide. I don't pretend to take all this chat room banter seriously, or to pen anything Payne-esque. I'll leave the bloated egos to the Clintonistas. It's all they've got left. Hey, if the ol' Hillster can win by 20 points in both Texas and Ohio next week, she's almost back to even in delegates. Wanna bet on that one, billy boy? She might win; I doubt it. But if she does, it'll be by two or three points. Game, set, match Obama. You can count, I presume. Count Hillary out. Sleep tight. love heywood
