Letters to the Editor

Yeah, how dare we be ecstatic, gleeful, dancing in our kitchens at the victory of a candidate who has brought a message of hope and dignity, and the human value and ability to contribute of every citizen to the political process? And record numbers of people going to the polls and caucuses--bah humbug!
I'm awfully young, but this is new *in my lifetime,* for people to act and believe like this, like they expect to count for something in the democratic process. Pardon me, I'm excited.
And I was frightened of what might happen to me under Ms. Clinton.
No, I don't think the guy's without ego, self interest, or flaw. I haven't gone around jeering at Clinton supporters. I've been, I believe, rational and honest about why I cannot support Hillary Clinton:
"The American people are not the problem. The American people are the answer." ~Barack Obama
"Young people today think 'work' is a four-letter word." ~Hillary Clinton
Gee, who do I think will value my contributions to this society and give a damn what happens to me?
