    Oh, man. McCain's speechifying right now, rehashing GOP talking points 101. "...holiday from history...moral monsters..." -- he's one step from invoking his precious bodily fluids, ala Jack D. Ripper from "Dr. Strangelove..."

  • Can someone cover the fact that McCain is agonizingly boring??

    Watching McCain's "victory" speech on CNN is putting me to sleep....and it's only 6:15pm here! He is one of the most boring speakers I have ever heard. The fired up crowd of only white people at his really in Ohio are shown looking bored and confused, and the applause sounds like what you get after each graduate's name at a Commencement ceremony. "More jobs for American workers..." cue light applause, etc. Could the press just once discuss how damn boring he is, or are they too busy lauding Obama for being able to keep people awake? And McCain's smiles are so forced it hurts. Please don't let this man be president of the United States. I can't handle another 4 years of turning off the TV when the president speaks.
