Is there anything uglier than a sore loser?
Yes.
Pompous, self-agrandizing, and un-gracious winners.
Deval Patrick, silver tongued, great campaigner, progressive, and a nice guy was also a winner when he was elected Governor of Massachusettes. As a governor so far his claim to fame, besides his many administrative stumbles, bringing more casinos to Massacusettes. Whoopee. If Obama is as "successful" at being president as Deval is as Governor there won't be cheering in the streets.
While we are looking at winners, in the last two weeks, McCain has cut Obabmas head to head lead in polls in half. Is McCain gaining momentum? Everyone likes to talk momentum right?
