Funny...
Barack Obama does better in that segment of the population, than Hillary does.
He's winning the upper income class.

Let's hear it
for Status Quo Girl!
-
Thanks for that!
Very funny. John McCain better watch out or he could easily become a punchline in similar fashion. Tamping down expectations, standards and yes, hope is a very poor strategy to win an election.

Did someone say parody?
The Panderer - HRH Hillary Clinton (apologies to The Wanderer by Dion DiMucci)
Whoa-oh-o I'm not the kind of girl
Who likes to be pinned down
I stake out all the space
So I can spin all around
Whenever I find myself being stuck with my own words
I call my staff, issue a draft and spin it 'round the world
'Cause I'm the panderer
Whoa-oh-o
The panderer
Whoa-oh-o
I spin around around around around the words
I'm not the kind of girl
Who has values at her core
I only worship Power
So let me tell you once more
I'm not the kind of girl
Who likes to be pinned down
I stake out all the space
So I can spin all around
Whenever I find myself being stuck with my own words
I call my staff, issue a draft and spin it 'round the world
'Cause I'm the panderer
Whoa-oh-o
The panderer
Whoa-oh-o
I spin around around around around the words
'Cause I'm the panderer
Whoa-oh-o
The panderer
Whoa-oh-o
I spin around around around around the words

No You Can't
I am not an Obama supporter, so you can imagine how funny this video is. This "Yes We Can" mantra are three words that don't take us to an answer as to "How Will We". I find Obama to be a legend in his own mind and his speeches are preaches. A real turn off.
Any idea this we can Guy has is from listening to Clinton speeches. I urge everyone on the 21st and 28th watch those debates and count how many times he is asked the same question Clinton was asked and answered, he says "I agree with Senator Clinton"... He owes his rise in the polls from capturing her comments and answers.
Obama is a college kid's dream. He speaks to them and they are moved, but, they don't recognize the differences between Obama and Clinton.
Sexism is far more problematic then race. Woman have to work ten times harder then their male counter-parts to achieve. When Obama's daily speeches are assaults on Hillary's character, not a word mentioned. If Hillary attacks, she's this or that.
Obama "Yes We Can", Hillary "Yes We Will".. Take a listen and give her the same chance.

Nice try, Rose Hann
"Sexism is far more problematic then race. Woman have to work ten times harder then their male counter-parts to achieve. "
I can spot a Republican in Democrats' clothing from miles away. Puh. Lease.

That video is just too frickin' true to be funny
Every time the Little People get uppity and begin to change things the People Who Matter find us a war or direct the Fed to turn off the spigot. From Al Smith and William Jennings Bryan to Prescott Bush to union busting, NAFTA and the marginalization of Kucinich it's the same story. There are goodies for the wealthy. For the rest of us it's jam tomorrow and jam yesterday but never jam today and an income and wealth distribution that closely approximates Guatemala.

kinda weak
I admire the effort on the video, but I found it kinda flat. *shrug*
Funny, tho, how quickly the angry Hillary people ran in here just to throw stones. Telling, that.
-
Thank You Melthough
It is true, but, unfortunately it is men like your self which helps prove what is true.
The men who dislike Hillary are usually men whom are very intimidated by strong, intelligent and powerful woman. I don't have to prove it you have to research it as I did. The inequality is there.
I do however, thank you for your compliment. Just one thing, I don't try, I succeed!!!!!!!!!!!

Pander myAss
Obama is the panderer in Chief. Look at his "Move over Huckabee" flyer exhorting himself as "The Christian candidate" in Carolina. Some nuggets from his flyer:
"Answering the Call"
"A committed Christian"
"Called to Christ - Called to bring Change"
"Barack on the power of Prayer"
HE IS TELLING PEOPLE TO VOTE FOR HIM BECAUSE HE IS CHRISTIAN. IT'S WHAT BUSH DID. It was deplorable when Bush did it, it is deplorable when Huckabee does it, and it is deplorable when Obama does it.
All politicians are panderers, thats how they get elected. But a religious panderer is the worst. It's disgusting. But go ahead continue, ignore it, Obama is like the Pope, he can do no wrong.
It would be cool though if he put out flyers exhorting himslef as "The Black Candidate", or "The Upper Middle Class Educated Candidate", or the "Non-Muslim Candidate". Guess that ain't gonna happen, well unless he gets behind in the primaries or the general election.
I admire the effort on the video, but I found it kinda flat. *shrug* Funny, tho, how quickly the angry Hillary people ran in here just to throw stones. Telling, that. -- swilldog
Dumb ass you came in here to throw stones at the video. (or should I call it a little condescending pebble). Please go ahead congratulate yourself again on how superior you are.

@ Rose Hann
What about the women, like myself, who don't care for Hillary? I find her hardworking, smart, ambitious AND calculating, dishonest and frankly a pathetic excuse for a "modern" woman. She actually makes me mad and sad at the same time. I frequently have trouble looking at her when she stands with her husband. That feeling has existed since 1992. I often feel guilty about it because I don't have the same visceral reaction to Bill. Perhaps I've always expected/wanted better from her.

winning the upper income groups
Obama is winning those and has from the start; the media of course are among these folks. Hard to say he's an "outsider" by those lights. Even in Washington DC. This might be part of his appeal to Republicans.
He's had more progress with us working stiffs lately but he really hasn't been naturally "for" us. He's more of a "bootstraps" kind of guy, and a free trade kind of guy, even when he's starting to try to talk economic populism a little bit.
Check John Nichols's article in The Nation about Obamanomics. It's complimentary because The Nation hearts Obama, but it also admits he's not really an economic populist at heart.
