Absolutely fair play.
I voted for Obama on Super Tuesday, but I think the Hillary email is a good one.
1. She's going to fight for her candidacy, and she should. I wouldn't want a president who didn't.
2. It's fair comment, especially if it's true.
3. It shows that Clinton is a leader, and that Obama is taking her ideas, which, if true, is something that needs to be pointed out.
4. This is a tiny, microscopic inkling of what we'll see from the McCain campaign if Obama is the nominee, and we all need to see this kind of thing now, and how Obama responds to it.

Vince...Your Article has NO Substance!
You wrote that article in a way to insinuate the Clinton camp made up the email.
What you should have stated was that the comments from McCains Advisor's were stated within an email.
Do all media outlets have to be illiterate?
Why don't you go back to your desk, turn your laptop back on and rewrite the article.
What did you have a deadline? This article has no substance.
Say hi to Chris Matthews for me when you see him later tonight for your "high five".
-
didn't Clinton also "steal" Edwards' health plan?
I didn't hear Edwards throwing a fit over it.

Speaking of plagarism
Clinton didn't show up for civil liberties yesterday (it was Potomac Primary day, so it's not as though she wasn't in the area...),
I'm not sure why YOU'RE spouting CNN talking points Exactly the propoganda I just heard McCaferty spin.
Did McCain show up in Georgia to thank the voters there that votged for him? No. Did Obambi show up to thank his wacko supporters in Arizona. No.
Why should HRC show up to thank people either, esp. in an area which was primarily composed of liberal white loons and black bigots.

cabbie crackpot
Lol, you guys are so pathetic you won't even use a fake name.
By the way Cab H. is my name and with a bit of research you can all find my info,
because I'm not afraid to actually stand behind what I rag.
You bunch of Hillary campaign worker anons.
LOL
I agree Salon has to keep posts like this out.
Nobody really cares what I or any of you anons has to really say.
So aside from entertainment for me, this is all absolutely worthless.

Don't cry for her, America
And SLATE's XX Factor wonders whether Clinton's picked up body language from Evita Peron...

Cry your heart out lefties...
It's only a small sample of the way the right is going to bash your heads in once Hillary's out of the way.

What the hell are you talking about? I'm talking about TELECOM IMMUNITY. CIVIL LIBERTIES. THE ABILITY OF THE GOVERNMENT TO SPY ON EVERY PHONE CALL YOU MAKE. Obama managed to show up for that extremely important vote. McCain did too - and came down on the wrong side of the issue for a maverick. Clinton was NOT PRESENT. What the hell do thank-you speeches have to do with that? I don't give a shit about CNN; I haven't watched television for 15 years.

Please, children.
Go play with your X-Box and let the adults use the Salon bandwidth. That's a good boy...

@Dana
How did you decide between Clinton and Obama? I was undecided for a while after Edwards left the race, then leaning toward Clinton because I liked her health care plan and leaning toward Obama because I liked his anti-lobbyist stance. But the (absence of a) telecom immunity vote scares me. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts about your vote, if you don't mind sharing them.

It's obvious
McCain is not-so-transparently dissing Obama by complimenting Clinton -- making her seem like the "substantive" candidate on the democratic side -- because he wants to try to help turn the tide and run against her in the Fall.
It's a brilliant tactic on McCain's part. It, one, helps Clinton, whom he'd rather run against, and, two, helps lure the democratic race down into the mud, where he wants it to be, because that just makes him look better.
Good move on his part. I hope Obama has a strategy to combat this type of tag-team swiping by both McCain and Clinton -- because right now he's the front-runner against both of them.

Obama the plagiarist......
The reason the Cliton campaign needs to quote John McCain's campaign is that the media totally ignores the Clinton campaign on anything that exposes Obama. The media has chosen to give Obama a free ride. Notice that you haven't addressed the charge of plagiarism - all you want to do is make a big deal of the fact that it took using the McCain campaign to make you do your jobs.

A Low Way to Go...
Beyond this B.S., Hillary has begun to strong sell herself as the Golden Gringo here in Texas. She seems to be betting the entire future of her campaign that our state is 100% demographically comrised of Latinos who will devotedly vote for her because Clinton is a "trusted" a brand name that's been around a while like Quaker Oats. San Antonio is one of the most conservative hispanic cities in the state, and here in Houston Obama has very solid support in East Texas. I smell the scent desperation all over Clintons Target Texas last stand.
-
In other words....
McCain's camp wants Hillary to win the nomination.
Anyone want to venture guess why that is?
-
"all anonymous posters are republican trolls."
That's like me saying all pseudonymonous posters are morons. Not all of them are. Some, obviously.
I'm one of the Anonymouses without the vocabulary and typing skills of a surly fourth-grader, by the way, in case you can't tell us apart.
Meanwhile, could Hillary be any more toast than she already is? Exactly who is going to flock to attacks, negativism, mean-spiritedness and lies? Besides a Republican, I mean.
-
Huh?
Re: "San Antonio is one of the most conservative hispanic cities in the state, and here in Houston Obama has very solid support in East Texas."
San Antonio is conservative and if I'm right, according to you, that hurts Hillary more than Obama? Why? That doesn't make sense.

Re: "McCain's camp wants Hillary to win the nomination.Anyone want to venture guess why that is?"
Um...because they don't want to be called racist for asking Obama to discuss the issues and his record.
We are now living in a world where "fairy tale" is racist as well as saying that LBJ signed the civil rights bill.
