  • Thank you Maryland.

I just hope y'all catch that serial killer loose in Baltimore. What's up with the biting?

  • Obama onstage now giving his speech

to that big cross-section of voters of liberal college students in Madison.

Good God, who said this guy was a good speaker? He's stumbling and he sounds wimpy and shallow.

His rhetoric is so damned transparent. I don't expect he will last two weeks once the Republicans start on him.

Oh, my God, he's going after lobbyists after all his K-street lobbying... Oh, Christ.

    We are f__D.

  • Something About Maryland?

The NYT shows Clinton leading Obama in Maryland (50% to 33%), albeit with, uh, 0% reporting. Wishful thinking, or does the AP know something the NYT doesn't know (or vice versa)? Just to add to the confusion, the NYT also reports on Obama winning in Maryland, even as their graphics say otherwise.

DC's 76% for Obama, 23% for Clinton, with 49% reporting.

  • There we go

The NYT fixed it -- it's now 48% Obama, 41% Clinton, with 0% reporting. That 0% reporting cracks me up; it's like in "Airplane!" when they say "He has a 50-50 chance of surviving, but there's only a 10% chance of that."

  • It's a good speech!

He hit the Iraq issue hard, and emphasized the contrast between Obama and McCain. Plus, he focused on McCain, rather than Hillary. Hurrah Barack!

  • KcM: You're welcome!

Don't worry, we've got our best detectives on the case and the Hizzoner is sparing no expense. There's a cold Natty Bo waiting here for you next time you're in town!

  • It's time for America to send the Clinton's a message - we don't want you!

When Barack Obama won the South Carolina primary the Clinton's disparaged and debased African Americans by explaining he won only because of his race. When he won in States such as Minnesota, Maine, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Washington - States with less than 10% African American population the Clinton's again tried to belittle his wins by stating that Democrats won't win those States in November anyway. I fervently hope and pray that the voters in Texas and Ohio see what the Clinton's are doing and make their voices heard when they vote in their State's primaries. They need to send the Clinton's a very strong message that the politics of mud slingling, lies, rumors, innuendos, racism, character assassination and personal destruction will no longer be tolerated. The despicable manner in which Clinton has conducted her campaign should be something the American people need to speak loudly and clearly about - that they have had enough and will not tolerate the Clinton's and their win at all costs, mean spirited nasty brand of politics. Voters in Ohio and Texas please let your fellow Americans know that you too want change and a candidate who will inspire you and uplift you. There is only one candidate running who has a message of change, hope, and working together to solve our nations problems and that candidate is Barack Obama. Say NO to divisiveness. Say NO to polarization. Say NO to Hillary Clinton.

  • ummm...

There's a substantial black population in all of these states, helllllloooooooooo

  • Obama Sweep

I thought it was most telling that Hillary dashed off to Texas long before any results came in. She didn't have a chance and knew the exit polls would refute some of her campaign's key swipes at Obama. Barack Obama won or ran close to even among Hillary's supposed core voters. Electability is a real problem for Clinton, and it gets worse, far worse in the general election.

As for Obama's speech, his lobs at McCain were spot on, especially the part where he criticizes the "100 years" reference and tells the audience not to give McCain 4 yrs in the White House. A strong start as a preview of the coming general election.

  • @koch

Sorry. But you clowns ate your cake way way too soon.

I just watched Obama address his nutty supporters in what all the country considers nutland: Berkely. As usual all hope and promise and rhetoric without a single mention of how he accomplishes all these promises (esp with the RNC at his butt all the time) What's Obama going to do , write him another letter closing it with how much he respects him again?

Then I watched McCain address his supporters and go right for the juglar on Obama's lack of experience and rheotric. It was effectively over for Obama in five minutes. he'll go right for his lack of experience and substance absent rhetoric while the 527's go after his crooked history and liberalism.

It's over. And I'm happy to put money on it too.

He is going to be slaughtered like a big, you dumb pricks.

    You got us good.

  • Anon.

Be cool. You reek of flailing desperation.

Also, Obama was in Madison, WI.

  • AlecsMom

    There you go again.

Of course she's down in Texas. They have sensible voters there who aren't going to just vote for someone because they have a black mug.

Instead of worrying about what Hillary is doing , you SHOULD be watching McCain. He just ripped your Obie a new asshole. Right through his HOPEFUL rhetoric, lack of experience, and foreign policy experience. Made him look like a starry-eyed dreamer void of all reality - much like the Berkely crowd Obama was addressing (must be that cross segment of 3% of Republicans voting for him).

What's Obama going to do? WRite him another letter closing it with how much he still respects him like he did in 2007? LOL. Pathetic.

it's over. I just saw it. The 527's haven't even started on his loose-cannon comments on Pakistan, his crooked deals with slumlords, K-Street lobbying connections, Senate absenteeism and , gross misrepresentations of his accomplishments in the Illinois legislature.

The only question is will this clown lose 42 states or 47.

You got us good putting up this fluff .Thanks a lot. I hope McCain gives you what you deserve in spades.

  • McCain vs Obama

Frankly, didn't you fall asleep when McCain was talking ?

I don't see how he can beat Obama. He is bad speaker in meeting and horrible in debates.

Well, at least, it will be a very interesting ideas batlle. Two very different vues of the world.

  • Man...the clinton crowd sounds pissed

    I mean c'mon

  • @tyger7

If you have been paying attention to the dissection of election results, you would know that Obama either won or ran close to even with HRC among voters who aren't black too. He ran away with these contests.

Another point: Fewer voters stated they would be satified with HRC as the Democratic nominee instead of Obama. My read is that her negatives are now sinking her among democrats, not just independents and republicans.
