  • She's keeps stooping lower and lower...

The public is finally seeing the real and darker side of both Clintons. His connections with Rezko?? What about her and her best Latino friend Mayor Villeraigosa connections with Rezko?.

They only make more enemies every day are putting themselves up for ridicule by such responses.

And there's so much more of that coming, of that we can be sure.

Hillary's campaign expects big wins in Texas. Ok.

But the news is now reporting that she's actually patrolling the Texas/Mexico border -not in as a security stunt, which might not be a bad strategy - but to find and cull every Latino voter role.

Trolling for Latinos specifically -in Texas.

Karl Rove will be back -with a vengence.

  • The Rose Law records mysteriously disappeared then reappeared.

Another fukkin RNC talking point from an Obama supporter. Gosh how unusual. When her Rose law records were found what did they show? Wonders of wonders, they showed nothing. ZERO. NADA. NOTHING. Might the RNC lemming Obamamites think that since the Rose law records clear her of all inuendo, of all real or imagined wrong-doing that she might have wanted those records to be found asap? It seems for every dumb-ass RNC talking point there are unknown numbers of dumb-ass Obama RNC consumers.

Rezco - Long-time known Sleaze-bag. Long-time Obama relationship. You want to make believe Obama did not have a relationship with this guy, you're deluded unless you yourself often partner with people you don't know in million dollar real estate transactions. So he returns some campaign dough, how about returning the $300,000 savings he garnered from his relationship with slum-lord, influence peddling Rezco in their partnered real estate transaction. Ok not illegal, just s l e a z y.

Exelon - A partnership made in heaven for the nuclear giant Exelon, which has given "at least $227,000" to Obama's campaign that eventually got them legislation from the Illinois Senator written with their best interests in mind. If this was a story about Clinton rewriting legislation to benefit one of her biggest campaign contributors, who also happened to be Big Nuke, there would be blaring headlines across the web. --Taylor Marsh

Blind Trust - A pretty good summary here. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/politics/chi-0703080154mar08,1,3568688.story?coll=chi-news-hed

I conclude Obama got caught and so had to pull his investments out of his contributors stocks at a loss. You draw your own conclusions.

You want to ignore this crap, fine, no ones perfect, especially politicians, but please excuse those of us who don't want to plug our ears and start singing "somewhere over the rainbow" everytime we get a deeper look into Obama history.

  • @ Bukk63

It is really too bad that the venom has been so bad between the camps. I think what we are seeing is victim and identity politics at its worst, from both sides.

Personally, I began as an Edwards supporter because I thought his ability to actually come clean on his votes (the war, the bankruptcy bill) was very refreshing and I thought that he was the only person that was giving a voice to good people who have basically been screwed over by the Bush policies.

But now that Edwards I have begun to support Obama because I believe that, much more than Hillary, his election, hell is nomination would give this country an opportunity to get out of the red state / blue state paradigm that we have been trapped in ever since the GOP tried to impeach President Clinton (although, I really think it started with Willie Horton)

Yes, Hillary and Obama's positions are very close to each other but I think that, when looking at electability and the opportunity to show the world that we are better than what we have shown them for the past 8 years (and yes, images do matter), President Obama would erase all of the damage done "to our good name" in short order.

And finally, (almost even more than I dread another GOP presidency) I just dread the idea of a 49%/49% split between Hillary and McCain because I know that both of them would have no problem with sending the country straight to court and putting us further down the divisive road that Lee Atwater, Karl Rove put us on.

  • PATHETIC

I clicked on this link to respond -- but am sitting here depressed at how pathetic politics is in this country -- and the media -- and men in the media.

I am too old to be blogging with a bunch of 20 year old cult Obama kids who have nothing better to do...

When you grow up -- you will either be old versions of what you are now -- voting for Ron Paul-like creatures or kicking yourselves for your young blunders and stupidity.

I am signing off from these blogs -- I can do more with my life than read rants by teens....thanks for the fun kiddos...

  • The past tense of "lend" is "lent," and the past tense of "loan" is "loaned." The verb loan is standard when money is the subject of the transaction.

    That is all.

  • But what if there is something alarming in the tax returns?

I don't understand - why won't Senator Clinton allow primary voters (her base) access to information that she will provide to the Republicans and everyone else after the primary? Senator Clinton, correctly so, has been asking that Senator Obama be fully vetted. But now she is refusing to allow herself to be fully vetted? I am concerned there is something in the tax returns that will reflect negatively on Senator Clinton in the primary and that is why she won't release them.

My state's primary is upcoming, and I am undecided. I had been leaning towards voting for Senator Clinton, but the failure to release these records has me very concerned. If Senator Clinton is going to release her tax records, she should do so now. And, for me, hopefully before the Wisconsin primary.

  • This is Easy......

Despite all the Clintonites trying to deflect the issue here- just like she did- the topic is her releasing her tax returns- as Obama has.

Now this is were it gets easy.

HRC will have to release them after nomination anyway, so she's not hiding anything from republicans they wont eventually have anyway.

She's not hiding them from Obama supporters because they are already supporting Obama- no matter how squeeky clean those returns are.

    So.....

The only people she's hiding them from are her own supporters. And yet here are her supporters championing that move and defending what is essentially, an action against them, and only them.

I guess if i was supporting HRC, ignorance would be my best bet too.

So lets see. A vote for HRC is a vote for 1. the war 2. Telecom imunity (see todays vote) and illegal spying on Americans 3. Corporatism 4. continued torture 5. and govt secrecy.

What again, did you guys say you hated about Bush these last eight years?

    Yeah, i figured.
