I gave the Obama supporters the "youthful enthusiasm" benefit of the doubt close to a month and then realized that explanation did not cut it. I suspected literally a genuine Rove stealth attack was responsible for the worst of the comments ... I'm still not entirely sure that something similar is not in play here.
My observation over the last month is that there are at least two Obama camps ... the genuine Obama is #1 supporters (who may or may not be willing to vote for Hillary in November) ... then there are what I am beginning to think are Obama Republicans (those who insist they will vote for McCain, etc).
Now that McCain seems very likely to actually be the the Republican candidate, these Obama republicans are only helping McCain's cause by causing dissent and friction among the Democrats. Bascially, they're playing both sides of the field. Obama is still remains something of a longshot to actually GET the nomination (though I certainly agree the odds are narrowing almost to a vanishing point and could possibly swing to his favor), so supporting Obama, demonizing Hillary --hey, it's "all good" from their point of view. They don't care about the Democratic party and -- most dangerously -- they likely don't care about the OTHER Democratic candidates who will be running next fall.
I think most of the Obama supporters I see vastly over estimate the power of the presidency to effect change ... crises and entrenched interests have sidelined the best intentions over and over.
I have been disappointed in Barack Obama's leadership of his campaign in this and the "mixed message" (to put it kindly) that seem to be coming from the top about supporting "the party" in November.
All in all, I think "overkill" describes the phenomenon ... as I think could be seen if the letters to just this item alone were tabulated by sentiments expressed. ...
I won't vote for Obama. His speeches have two themes; 1) his idealistic yet unrealistic aspriations of changing politics in America which is completely contridicted by the 2nd theme...Hillary is the devil.
Obama is a far more devisive candidate than he is a candidate that unites people. His jabs at his opponent undermine his messages of unity and hope.
I am pretty disgusted with how Obama is using what anti-clinton sentiment there is to his advantage to get those folks all riled up and pissed at Hillary Clinton. AND He does so by distorting her comments and her record. BTW - plenty of folks are now posting on various websites that they REGRET voting for Obama and hope Hillary wins.
I thought it pathetic that MoveOn.Org supporters chose Obama, a candidate who DID NOT support the organizations right to free speech when MoveOn's "General Betray" add stirred the hornets nest. Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, came out in support of MoveOn's right to free speech. I quit MoveOn - that WAS MESSED UP.
I think it is dinengenous how Obama stands up for a policy that disenfranchises voters in Michigan and Florida and attacks Hillary for having her objections to voter suppression - AND HE LIES about the truth - she was against this policy from the begining..the question is...WHY wasn't Obama against disenfranchising voters? Could it be because at the time it was to his advantage to knock out Florida and Michigan?
Now he is crying over super delegates? ON the one side he wants the DNC to follow the rules as were established (in regards to Florida and Michigan) but wants the rules regarding super delegates changed?
I think Obama is a disaster waiting to happen.
I am voting for Clinton...And if she does not get the nomination - I'm leaving

And Obama supporters get called childish, immature, that we're members of cult, we're fascists, we're drinking the kool-aid, we're racists (i suppose for the black ones like me.) etc, etc, etc. I thought pendeja meant asshole? I think you're thinking about culo...
And I'm sorry, if that's NYAMIGA, she's been baiting Obama supporters constantly.
You know what I'm really sick and tired of? It's Clinton supporters whining about how attacked their poor victim-canidate is. I can't take it anymore, and it's one of the reasons I switched to Obama; 4 years ago I was sure I would vote for Clinton, but now I can't stand all of the whining, her husband making snide comments (a canidates spouse is just supposed to smile and look pretty...and support his woman. Not act like a bulldog.)
For the past 6 months I've been reading emails about how Obama is 1) a Muslim 2) a member of a black African church which wants to take over the U.S. 3) Went to a madrass kindergarten.
I've read where bloggers make sure to call him Barack Hussein Obama (with an an emphasis on his middle name) just to make sure the people in this country know he's not real American.
Don't any of you guys think Obama receives a shit load of death threats? Remember how they increased his security detail? Has he ever said, those widdle redknecks are mean to me. Why do people hate me? He doesn't sit around saying, everyone is picking on me! Oh the horror, people like Clinton more than me? WHY!!!! It must be the politics of personal destruction or a MSM conspiracy! If Obama, as a black man, started talking that sort of nonsense...he wouldn't have made it past IOWA.
Clinton and her supporters need to, excuse the term, grow a pair. If you think these little firefights are bad, are vitriolic, etc, wait until Clinton wins the nomination. And that 35 years of experience statements becomes an anchor around her neck for someone like McCAin, who has 20 years of real experience in the Senate. The victim mentality doesn't play very well in red states.
"This is a perfect example of why I could never support Hillary. Her shrewish shrill vixens of supporters are mostly jerks.
I was quite neutral on Hillary until I read post after post like this. Rezko this (ignore Chu), ethical violations (ignore Rose Law Firm, cattle futures), etc.
For you little shrews Hillary is a goddess. But she is going down. Obama is no perfect guy, far from it. He is green, but an effective speaker.
He is not perfect, and neither is Hillary. She actually is often convincing, and a good speaker.
It is her harridans of supporters that make me spew green upchuck. Shrill isn't the half. Vindictive witches is more like it."
Just a little biographical detail here. Dataguyx has two daughters. Do you begin to feel sorry for these girls?
Let's here it for dataguyx. Winning supporters for Obama, one woman at a time.
