She's self-funding her campaign
and married to Bill Clinton. Even if they have "separate accounts" as well as a "joint account," this opens up questions of where she and Bill get that money. The longer the Clintons stall, the more it looks like they have something to hide. Saying they'll release the info after they've flimflammed Democrats into nominating them is not good enough!
By the way, where are their White House records and the records of the contributions to Bill's charitable organization? The Clintons are as secretive as George W. Bush.
Hillary conducted her 1993 failed health care negotiations in private. Barack wants to put his on C-SPAN. One candidate trusts the American people with information. The other one does not.

But you'll have to settle for a consolation prize. The question here is not what is required by the rules, but what the candidates are doing voluntarily to maintain openness about their campaigns. Lord knows that Clinton (both of them) has a problem with full, accurate disclosure. Nice try at changing the subject, however.

Awright...what if Obama's mother was not just an iconoclast, but a Communist?
There is "talk" afoot that she was, and that is the reason her time in Seattle when she was growing up is left out of Obama's version of his family life story. She went to high school in the Seattle area from 1956-1960, but Obama has always made it sound as though she moved from Kansas directly to Hawaii.
Who cares if she was a Communist? Not I. But, Republicans would!
However, I also don't care about Hillary Clinton's tax returns, until she is a certified nominee. Until then, I'll give her a pass on that.
But, do we want to find out that Obama's mother was a Communist after he gets the nomination?
He should just come clean and prove that he doesn't have anything to hide.

Valid Point Though
HRC has been running partly on the idea that she's vetted and has withstood republican attack machine for all these years. The reality, is she has ignored the right-wing attacks. She's never had to respond to them. The attacks from the right could be ignored because either she was merely the First Lady, out of office, or running for senator in a very blue state.
Should she be the nominee the situation will be very different.

Naturally, Obama is just starting out in life (compared to Clintons) and probably has not amassed a lot of money. He hasn't sold as many books, he hasn't been out on the lecture circuit, he has no clout when it comes to lobbying. So what's he got? A tidy little salary from the Senate and some savings accounts?
He's as poor as a church mouse by comparison, so naturally he wants to flog that fact to the American voter.
I don't blame Clinton for telling him to fuck off.
I started out very strong for Obama, but day by day, I'm less thrilled with what I'm seeing, and what I'm not seeing.

I support Hillary Clinton because she is the most qualifed. I have seen her several times and she is certainly the smartest. She can talk about any issue. She takes our dreams and makes them a reality. It would be a shame to elect this guy.

Nice try at red-baiting. Despite the almost purged history of America, at one point, in fact, a good chunk of American's were openly socialist, communist, and anarchist. In fact, its always been amazing to me how much America was torn apart from the early 1900's to the late 30's, in out and out brutal class warfare. It was in part why FDR attempted to ameliorate these factions by adopting vaguely socialist programs (though he never went as wholesale as Western European countries did).
Many of the children of this era, and up until the late 40's, would form the basis of the Red Diaper baby generation, whose impact would then be felt in the 60's. People should be proud that they come from a lineage of American's that fought for whats right and just. I mean hell, if tools can celebrate their "Confederate heritage" than certainly the children of labor and social justice can do the same.

The more I learn about the "Special Rules" for Obama the more I see that we really don't know much about him or his wife. Before she hands over her tax returns I want him to hold a press conference and state that this isn't true:

Unless he does this Mr. Obama has more than 99 problems with all the registered women across this country. It is to bad no on is keeping a log of all his verbal attacks on a single website Hillary so we could find them before he saunters in at the convention to Jay-Z's 99 song again. Oh, and I won't blame Bill Clinton for defending his wife, this countries former First Lady, that's right LADY!

Where did she get Five Million US Dollars?
I have asked this before. Supposedly, this is her money, not Bill's. From her parents? From a book? She made zero for eight years while she was First Lady. She makes about $164,000 as a Senator. Way back when, she probably made pretty good money as a lawyer... but Five Million?
Hillary, please release! And give explanations to explain your money versus Bil's money. If all is cool, then all is cool, and people will vote for cool.

Hillay, please don't release your tax returns because the sainted one asked for it! Did he pay taxes on the full worth of that property that the Chicago slumlord "sold" him?
