There's a simple reason why it is so so so stupid: The Republicans WANT TO RUN AGAINST HILLARY. THEY ARE DYING TO DO THAT. They know that her negatives make her unelectable. That's why they want her in the GE.

NM is 44.0% Hispanic or Latino and 42.8% White, non-Hispanic. Up until about 10 years ago, the majority went the other direction. But, this doesn't say anything about the percentages of New Mexicans that voted in the Democratic Caucus.

Speaking of opposition...
Usually the GOP's PR point people get busy with "Oooh, we can't wait to go up against [Democratic candidate of choice]!" or do the Briar Patch line early in their attempt to spin things to their favor. This time, though, they seem to be pretty quiet. Maybe it's because Rove's not on the case. They're probably quietly crossing their fingers that it'll be Clinton against McCain, and don't want to spoil things by tipping their hat early on.
I remember them doing that with Kerry, like "Oooh, we don't want to go up against HIM!" and then they trounced him in the general. Maybe McCain's near-coronation has demoralized them, so they're still processing that, or maybe they're saving their money to wait until the Democrats nominate their candidate.

So, if I am an Obama supporter, who is excited about him being president, I should instead just vote for Clinton, because Rove thinks he would be easier to beat in the GE.
Well, I think I will make up my own mind who I vote for. What kind of idiot would let Karl Rove determine who they should vote for?

People under 25, and crossover Republicans. I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist, but I have heard Republicans saying that they are doing this. Several people interviewed during and after the Iowa caucuses admitted as much on the radio.
And while I don't think we should let Rove choose our candidate, we need to be aware that this is happening. "Barack will save us!" is not going to cut it.

Well, being a futures trader, I know one thing. Elections, like markets, have a dynamic whereby they gravitate toward a place that confounds the greatest number of people. If they were predictable, we would all be rich and polls would replace elections.
Think: "Dewey wins the Presidency," "the Giants beat the Patriots," and a funcional illiterate is elected.....twice!
So here's the deal. America IS racist. The question is how much? America IS misogynist, The question is how much?
If you could answer those two questions, Bill Gates would be # 2 on the list of the world's richest people.

I have been checking on, but did not see that there will be a recount. I thought CNN was always on top of things.
Dataguyx... When I was a child and used the words hell & damn, my Aunt would say, "There are better words in the dictionary to express yourself with. In my home and my relatives homes, I never heard profanity, but you must have had another experience.
