If Clinton Wins the Nomination
There is no way in hell she would win against McCain. Obama is the only one could beat him. Hold on, folks, we're in for 8 more years of Republicanism.
-
Obama Will Dominate CA
We'll see tomorrow when the paper ballots (Thank God!) are counted here.
At the very least Obama will block the Coronation and we'll have another month for Dems to come to their senses.

The ozone crowd

How stupid ARE you?
Clinton's winning in all the places Dems NEED and MUST win to win the election against McCain. REmember that electoral system? She's winning handily in Missouri, Oklahoma, New Mexico, TN, all states Gore and Kerry lost.
As it were, she's the one who has turned out to be not polarizing rather than featherweight Obambi. Did you really think Kennedy endorsing Obambi would unify Republicans and independents. Again, I ask how stupid ARE you?
-
I'll take the Latinos and Catholics
Much better base. Hard facts. With age comes wisdom. Speeches about hope and all that hot air crap does nothing to create a job or close a deficit. We need someone who can hit the ground running after Bush's monumental mess.

@V - LOL

LOL. Seems to me they're coming to their senses for the most part tonight. Save for the blacks who will vote for him on race and some latte liberals, seems like EVERYONE else is going for Hillary.

it's a primary...

1. The Obambi thing is tired already.
2. It's a primary. A fact you don't seem to understand. Die hard dems voting, die hard repubs. Your really think that will translate in a general election?
-
A Latino Hispanic...
Who dat?
Chinese Cubans, Jewish German Argentines, Lebanese Dominicans? White Puerto Ricans? Polish Ecuadorans? Japanese Peruvians? Mexican Indians? German Brazilians? Ukranian Uruguayans?
Please aim higher than the Taco Bell chihuahua's butt hole and get educated about who "latinos" really are, but first stop ignoring that army of illegals Guatemalan Indians in the kitchen of your favorite "bistro" on the Upper West Side.
These generalizations about "latinos" only underscore why Americans are hands-down the biggest boors abroad.

Okay, but you have to admit it is somewhat fitting.
2. It's a primary. A fact you don't seem to understand. Die hard dems voting, die hard repubs. Your really think that will translate in a general election?
I do indeed understand. It's actually the states Obam..a has won big we dont have chance in (Georgia, SC and Alabama).
WJC won AK and TN, NM and HRC can too. (plus CO and OH) Notice she's winning in all the more conservative districts which is telling about her ability to win the elderly vote we'd lost. I do beleive people are hurting enough economically in these places to vote for her.
But you are correct. McCain will NOT be easy to beat. He'll have free press, tons of money, already fares well with independents, hasn't alienated himself from Latinos like the rest of the GOP, is from the west where the GOP needs to stop their losing trend, has gotten a free pass as a foreign policy "expert", and can trot out Liberman like a dog for example of his bipartisanship.
That's why it IS important we have someone experienced and who can compete in the heartland. Hillary may not pull it off in the end, but she'll at least give it a big fight. She's tested. NO fresh dirt. No slumlords and kickbacks and all that fresh stuff.

As a Hispanic
And as the son of immigrants from Cuba, i have to say it........
Someone get the latinos away from the polling booths- please! Just look at latinos choices of leaders- from Fidel to Hugo and look at the situation and poverty in almost all latin countries and you'll understand why i say so.
Informed my ass. As a hispanic, i have watched -stunned, election after election- as my latinos family kept voting for Bush and Reagan. Sad to say it, but its true.
And now they're gonna pick a turd for the US. And come election time, in the general- they'll go republican, as usual. Because latinos aren't just racist (the real reason they arent for Obama- lets admit it) they are sexist to boot.
Again, as a latino myself, plugged into the cuban, mexican and multi latin groups here in Miami, i can tell you, that will be the case.
8 more years of corporatism/republicanism here we come- whether HRC wins the general or not.

Clinton Can Beat McCain
A lot easier that Obama, with his driver's licenses for illegal aliens and his Iraq vote.
-
@6stringer - I am hispanic.

Truthfully you don't at all sound hispanic. You sound like a white liberal. I've never heard any of my hispanic pals spout the line about Hillary being another corporate republicanist. But I hear the white liberal men spout it all the time
Incidentally there's nothing stupid about hispanics. they work hard and know what matters. Jobs, money and access to healthcare and schools for their kids.

Si se puede
I'm female, feminist, Latino, and Catholic and strongly for Barack Obama. Nothing Hillary has said or done during this campaign has been inspiring. It's the same old Clinton centrist stuff. Plus she voted for the war. 'Nuff said.
