Damn We Wish You Were President!
Here is one Angeleano that is supporting Hillary.
One of my favorite singers, Sophie B. Hawkins reworked her
big hit - http://youtube.com/watch?v=EwEiQOVzXdA

I'd feel a lot better about voting for Obama...
... if Oprah is his VP.
-
but shouldn't they
at least ask their supporters to choose among the remaining two?
-
the supreme triangulator
If it's not Obama, it might as well be a Republican. Very little light between McCain and Hillary. They both vote the same way.
One thing a Hillary nomination will do is really cement the Republican Party. They will have a new mission and that is to make sure that the Clintons do not occupy the White House again.
Independents will overwhelmingly go for McCain and a lot of Demcorats like myself will never vote for Hillary. I remember marching against war when she was voting for it. For that ahd the thousands dead and maimed for political gain, I will never forgive her.
Of course let's not forget the Levine amendment, the Kyle/Lieberman bill to basically give Bush authority for war against Iran, voting to criminalize flag burning, her vote on the bankruptcy bill. It is amazing that she is more right-wing than many Republicans!
She has shown that her need for power is greater than her desire to protect the American people.

The elephant in the room...
I mean don't we all know that all those Senators thought a preemptive attach on Iraq was wrong. The just didn't have the guts to stand up and say this is more important then seeming soft on terror. This is why she should be president. I am guessing Obama would have made the same mistake. But he didn't. He was lucky he didn't have that choice. Bottom line is she facilitated the thousands of dead troops and 100's of thousand of dead Iraqi's and millions of refugees. It wasn't her idea but her and her husband both supported it. And for that they should lose.
Even Edwards bs I made a mistake answer should be unacceptable. Supporting preemptive war should eliminate you from the Democratic Primary period.

Lightning will surely strike me down
for agreeing with Ann Coulter, but she actually is right when she says that Hillary is to the right of John McCain on war and torture. I'd rather vote for an honest Republican who at least understands the human cost of war than a dishonest warmonger who will give the former Philanderer-in-Chief the keys to the Oval Office.
-
You are nuts
Now Hillary is John McCain? Have you people gone MAD? Hillary does not vote like McCain.
And who care s what Ann Coulter says? Since when has she ever been right about anything?! Never.
-
I'm no HRC fan, but ...
You have to be some Naderian nitwit to think she is ANYTHING like Saint John the Good. For God's sake ... I hope Obama is our nominee and think Hillary stands an excellent chance of losing to that phony, fossilized sack of shit in the fall, but really. Judges, anyone? Choice? Health care?

Interesting tidbits.
Richardson, according to Olbermann, will be watching the game -with Bill Clinton.
I never thought Richardson would go with Obama anyway, hes not that independent.
But here's a new tip for you... watch Arizona.
After a stunning endorsement from the hardened Arizona Republica, Obama has a great tv ad I've been seeing almost every day, but zippo from Clinton. Well there was one screechy voiced automated phone attempt from Clinton. But if she thinks the women and the seniors are enough to do it for her she may be wrong. Not with Napolitano and Caroline Kennedy on Obama's side..
And McCain is running ads now -in his own home state. That's a bad sign proving how low he sunk as a Senator here since he crawled to that Falwell kiss of death. (no pun intended)
Had he had to run for re-election this year he may not have made it.
Obama may about to win the most amazing landslide in November -stunning us all.
He came along when we all -both sides -were at our most vulnerable, personally. Sure glad it was him.
-
Great strategy
Obama's got Michelle, Oprah, and Caroline out there because he knows if he can get some thinking women who are leaning to HRC mostly because she is the best shot women have ever had to be really represented (with no imputation whatsoever as to the quality of that representation) to move into his camp, he's got this thing in the bag. If the Secret Service does its job, he'll get 60% or more of the vote in November.

Oprah and Caroline Kennedy assassinate JFK and RFK a second time
Both of these women should have been smart enough to know that Karl Rove and the G.O.P. created the Obama candidacy to prevent Clinton's landslide victory in November. With all the baggage associated with his relationship to an indicted slumlord, Obama has no chance in November once the mainstream media starts reporting on this 12-year quid pro quo (after Hillary's out of the way, of course). Supporting Barack is tantamount to letting the Bush-Cheney cabal maintain their lock on the White House for another four years! Really, what is there to argue here? That cabal reaches back to Kissinger and Nixon, and the military industrial complex that took out JFK and RFK. Isn't it ironic that Caroline Kennedy is throwing her weight behind her father's killers? It's too bad that RFK's kids, who support Clinton, won't come out more forcefully on this. We're being subjected to a WMD propaganda campaign all over again. The "divisive" Hillary. The "polarizing" Hilary. Barack, "the next JFK". And so on...
-
One For The Girls...
Oprah and Caroline love him! Isn't that just as good as voting for the more qualified female candidate who will actually get you health care, ladies?
Come on! You don't really want a female president if you can have OPRAH instead, do you?

Pulling out the big guns
First, please when making comments, let us have some decency in the language used. If our vocabulary is so limited to nasty and improper words for friendly conversation, watch Fox News instead.
I have always adored and worshiped JFK, Robert Kennedy and others of this wonderful family. However, not all of them have led an unblemished life starting with Patriarch Joseph Kennedy.
Carolyn is a wonderful woman who has led a very private life with little contact with government and politics. Oprah Winfrey is wonderful at making money and supporting personal causes some of which have gone awry. But are they really endorsements that are important.
Maybe, the candidates can stand on their own two feet and forget the need for endorsements.
