I Saw Nothing
If that was testy, what was Bill Clinton's response to a reporter's question a few days ago regarding the challenge of the "casino caucuses?" Bill was in the guy's face big time. And you know what? I don't blame him.
I think candidates need to be more testy when asked STUPID questions by moronic reporters. They might be more careful next time.

Profoundly offensive, frankly. And for more than one party. First of all, in defense of Bill/Hill Clinton, it was not the media, but one of america's most recognised poet laureates, AND a black woman, who deemed Clinton the 'First Black President,' so Obama's one-note jackasses on here can close their gobs with their jibes mocking this appellation.
Further, the 'bitch' comment, irrespective of your own ethinicity, of which I have no idea, amounts to the lowest form of ne'er-so-subtle racism-by-allusion. It also manages to be mysogynistic, by bringing up the old Hillary-as-bitch schtick.
Now, that I think about it... so coherently offensive: well done.... after a fashion.

On another note, the Obama ditto-heads on here and elsewhere with their Obama-or-no-one bit are really starting to irritate me ... and I have donated heavily to Obama and no one else. I am especially perturbed by the suggestions that if Obama is not nominated they won't vote or will vote 'independant'... the same jackanapes responsible for the death of hundreds of thousands in Iraq for sailing the the Good Ship Nader the past few rounds. That war would never had happened had Gore been elected and thats a fact. Nice work, you amero-centric jerks.

lets get to the real heart of the matter
It is funny how we are all arguing over parts of this debate, yet all ignoring the fact that the most important part of this primary campaign was seen last night.
It came at the end, and it has been largely ignored. I think this is the most important part, because it cuts to what this primary is really all about, and the different perspectives on leadership that the candidates have. I think the last question gave us the best real insight into what each of these candidates would be like as president.
So I will re print it here (I cut the fat but left the meat….To see the full quotes: (http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/01/21/debate.transcript3/index.html). I will not make a judgment, but leave it to you, which you would prefer in a president:
Question: If Dr. Martin Luther King were alive today, unfortunately, he's not, but if he were alive today, why do you think he would or why should he endorse you?
EDWARDS: For two reasons. One is that.........two biggest issues that Dr. King stood for, which are the issues of equality and ending poverty in America....... I mean, I have been pushing this issue as aggressively and as loudly as I possibly can and I will do it as long as I'm alive, because it is central to what I believe.
OBAMA: Well, I don't think Dr. King would endorse any of us. I think what he would call upon the American people to do is to hold us accountable, and this goes to the core differences, I think, in this campaign.................
I believe change does not happen from the top down. It happens from the bottom up.
So that has been a hallmark of my career, transparency and accountability, getting the American people involved. That's how we're going to bring about change. That's why I want to be president of the United States, to respect the power of the American people to bring about change.
CLINTON:
......And then there was a meeting of morality and politics. And the political leaders finally responded.
The American people should not have to work so hard to get leaders who will actually help them and recognize we are strongest when we lead by our values. Dr. King transformed the lives of so many of us, and I intend to do whatever I can to make his legacy real in the lives of Americans.

how nice of you
Oh Tim, how utterly charitable to cast your doubts over the media's characterization of Obama's meltdown from his happy-go-lucky message of hope, when you have never given Clinton or Edwards the same benefit of doubt. Hell, you wouldn't even link to the full content and context of the Clintons' words about LBJ and fairy tales, let alone encourage your readers to watch/listen for themselves.

Is Obama getting "testy"?
No, but he's getting testES. His gender-reassignment surgery is complete tomorrow. Yay!
Vote Raila Odinga 2008!

A Little History Lesson for Gams
When the vote authorizing military action in Iraq came down, Hillary Clinton voted yes. Ralph Nader? I don't recall what his vote was, but you're probably right that he had FAR MORE to do with Iraq and any in a number of policy disasters enacted by Bush than any of the ass-kissing Dems in Congress who actually had the chance to stand up to Bush but didn't -- and I'm now being asked to support.
-
"Testy" is a bad thing?
Frustration is a normal human emotion (at least Obama has them, right?). Though I think in this case the more appropriate descriptor would be "annoyed with inane-question-asking reporter douchebag".
-
@glass on gams
Don't blame Nader, at least he ran on conviction
If Gore had not been running as Bush Jr. maybe he would have won (lets not let our memories get twisted, go to the video, Gore sucked)and as far as Iraq was concerned:
air strike 26 Jun 1993
cruise missile strike 13 Jan 1993
cruise missile strike 17 Jan 1993
OPERATION DESERT STRIKE 03 Sep 1996
OPERATION DESERT THUNDER Feb 1998
OPERATION DESERT VIPER Nov 1998
OPERATION DESERT FOX 16 Dec 1998
With continues sanctions, and the Iraq liberation act of 1998....
Wonder how different Gore would have been? Maybe just crippling sanctions and a few bombings...like the good ol'days..poor Iraqi bas%$ards

Seeing lots of the typical Obama supporter line here
"If Hillary is the nominee I will not vote in the general election."
Way to bring that change on. Righteous.
-
Yupp that's testy
And he has every right to be.

@KurtHunt
"Is Karl Rove managing her campaign now, or what?"
It wouldn't surprise me if he and his minions weren't behind at least some of the smears, push-polls and flyers. Weaken Obama? Check. Arouse hatred for HRC? Check. Continue the REpublican death grip on the country? Game, set, match.
