  • Must. Have. Drama.

Obama wasn't testy at first. He became slightly testier, because the reporter was an annoying lout who interrupted the candidate to ask the same type of nonsense questions that we all wish weren't ever asked, or barring that, never answered.

How's about that guy ask Obama about some difference of opinion between the candidates on an actual issue? Nah.

So, we all know how the media operates- creating drama wherever they go because that is what they thrive on- but how do we change that?

    There's a question for you.

  • "testy" - maybe

Testy - maybe, maybe not. Does he act like he is the anointed proponent of change? Yes. Has he done anything outside of being a gifted orator to earn my vote? No.

How about Salon asking those questions. Cause so far, here is what I see: there is no difference between Obama and McCain with the war and Obama's health care stinks.

  • reporting?

Any description of this exchange as "testy" is a blatant lie. This is beyond reporting, well into anti-Obama or pro-Clinton propaganda.

  • Drama queens

If there's no drama involved, it's boring...or so the news folks have come to believe. Drama used to be for fiction, but now it's what the news directors long for. If they can't find any real drama, they force it upon us.

  • Testy schmesty.

Testy? He seems jovial, a bit distracted by all the noise, and willing to talk about the issue. Where the hell do these people get testy? Oh, right! That's what Ms. Clinton is calling it, and the media is taking her lead.

If I were in his place, I'd be hoppin' mad and I'd tear a hole into Hillary Clinton that all the crying in the world couldn't fix.

  • He's not alone!

Ol' Loose Zipper bloviating and lying for his wife, Bush Panderer, make a lot of people testy and very nervous about the future of the republic.

  • people really are starved for something else

    Interesting piece in The Nation:

    http://www.thenation.com/blogs/campaignmatters?pid=273806

Obama's MLK speech is huge on the internet nationally AND internationally. I don't agree with him on everything, and I wish this campaign had taken a different route where candidates presented THEIR views and policies not just swipes at their opponants'. We really do need to hear concrete statements from these people on foreign policy, national security, global warming, alternative energy, etc. But it is interesting that people are seeking out Obama's speech which was a very positive and forward thinking piece in great numbers. The MSM is forcing the sleazy Clinton circus down our throats 24 hours a day. Of course Obama might get testy...wouldn't you?

I saw Hillary Clinton on tv last night at a campaign appearance saying Obama was getting desperate. The smug, self-satisfied, vindictive look on her face was disgusting. I'd be curious to know how many people are logging on line to marvel over that performance? The ugly, mean-spirited tactics the clinton use will get her the nomination, but in the end it will come a disastrous price.

Barack Obama really could have been the Democrats Ronald Reagan figure, but the Clintons have made sure that won't happen. I have a feeling, in their hearts (if they even have them) the Clintons know she won't win in November, but I think they're hell-bent on making sure he doesn't either.

  • Digusted with Clinton & MSM

I used to be torn between Hillary and Barack - No more. I am so disgusted with the way the Clintons have attacked Obama that I will not even vote for her in the general election if she is the nominee. Is Karl Rove managing her campaign now, or what?

And I am as impressed with how Obama has remained above the fray (in spite of what the MSM say) as i am disgusted by Hillary's dirty tricks.

And I am disgusted (as always) at how the MSM has portrayed the whole situation - completely buying and then selling any spin that will foment controversy and boost ratings. Do they think somehow that they are being 'balanced' by suggesting that Obama is taking equal part in this embarrassing display of dirty politics, other than to be target? Shame on all of them and Kudos to Tim Grieve!!

  • testy at what?

The whole exchange is difficult to hear, but Obama's body language would certainly support that he was irritated by the question. Testy is a little different than irritated, though. If he was irritated, I doubt it would be because Bill Clinton got in his head. He would be irritated by being asked such an idiodic and pointless non-issue question... sort of like this question, "Is Hillary Clinton's sudden slide getting to her husband?" That question, for those with short memories was asked in a post by Tim Grieve in the War Room blog here at Salon.

  • Testy...1...2...3...

Sure, he's probably testy. He had to answer an insultingly stupid question about the person who's supposedly "inside his head" as being the "first black president" a few nights ago.

BTW, if Bill Clinton was the first black president, then what did that make Hillary? The president's "First Bitch"?

  • What exchange?

It was garbled. Hard to hear. And Obama said little to the reporter while signing autographs and shaking hands. This is a non-issue.

The real issue, of course, is that while he and Hillary are sniping at each other, neither is clearly presenting their platform on the issues of the day. But the media, ever searching for tempests in teapots, is not helping.

  • NO

I watched that clip on MSNBC yesterday. It was very loud and Obama probably had to raise his voice to be understood, but I don't think that he was getting "testy" as ABC points out. I never drew that conclusion.

What ABC should be noting is that patronizing and absurd press conference hillary gave yesterday morning. I wish she'd quit telling me what I need and don't need to do in my life. She in no way is a change agent. She's a political operative from another party with an agenda, that's all that's on her mind.

I hope the people of California see the hate in her and vote the change that his country needs. Mostly pushing Duncan Hunter out of his seat. And voting for Obama of course.
