speaking of Truman, he rose to fame
as a Senator who investigated war profiteering!
is there anyone in DC these days who has the guts to do this- i.e. check on all the Halliburton games, not to mention Blackwater, those out of control corporations.
senators were outspoken and brave in those days; now they're just a bunch of pandering empty windbags.
