What? A presidential hopeful who is honest about his/her experimentation with drugs as a youth?
Egads! Everyone attack! SWARM! SWARM! We want our president's to admit only to not inhaling and to youthful indiscretions. We don't want the truth to the questions we ask. We want a carefully researched and triangulated answer that is dodgy, geared towards amiguity, and complete bullshit.
Seriously. Am I the only person who finds his candor refreshing? He used drugs as a kid. Hey. I did too. I'm not a maniac, and clearly he isn't either. What's the point of attacking him for this. If anything, go after the candidates who dodge the question or answer it dishonestly. Do you honestly believe that Obama is the only candidate who has experimented with marijuana and cocaine? Give me a break! Get off your high horse.
