An endorsement that might matter

Could Rep. James Clyburn -- or the words that motivate him -- swing African-American voters toward Obama in South Carolina?

The letters thread is now closed.

dana: With that profile you think you are are but in truth you are consciously ignorant and impotent racially..

Truth is I bet you have never had any significant relations in your life with black people...

- I doubt if you have ever had a black boss, black accountant , black doctor, black lawyer, black spiritual leader, certainly never had a black parent, black teacher, ven a black lover.. I would wager with your profile you have never had a black person make a significant life altering decison for you ever..

- Now I am not mad or upset because of your social demographics it is just a reality of life in our country and certainly the profile of those on the internet and in chat forums..

My point is your posts and blowback reflect your lack ot depth and knowledge of black people from a number of vantage points..Both you and AKA Smith shoudl in truth embrace me becuase I can help youboth with these shrtcomings yet for white lberal arrogane I have more balls than that negro mindest limits your growth..

And that is sad it really is...

Thrasher, I'm not going to engage you anymore.

It's pointless, has nothing to do with Clinton's comment or Clyburn's endorsement, and bores the other readers to tears.

When you wrote,

With that profile you think you are are but in truth you are consciously ignorant and impotent racially..

were you referring to this profile? http://danaruns.typepad.com/about.html If so, you do realize that the profile is a joke, don't you?

As for the rest, I feel no compulsion to parade my "race qualifications" for you. You may think what you like. And you may have the last word on this, for I will respond no further.

Try reading it again:

Only people looking for a reason to trash Hillary could possibly read this as criticizing MLK or the Civil Rights movement. Also she isn't being critical of JFK but of Eisenhower. The point is that movements can help to create the pressure and conditions under which change is possible but there still have to be skillful people in power to help get legislation passed. Johnson was very skillful in this regard. All Hillary is saying is that she has the skill to do things of similar importance. One can agree or disagree with her claim but the quote is far from an attack on MLK or the Civil Rights movement.

Trasher is a white punk trying to act black and failing miserably

He's an attention troll trying to race bait.

Just don't respond.

it's funny..

The sad thing about Thrasher is that he/she thinks that he/she is accomplishing something for people of color, when in fact all he/she is doing is annoying the hell out of people who don't buy his/her crap.

If Obama had ever taken advice from someone like Thrasher, no non-black person would ever have voted for him, and precious few blacks.

Big Ben and White Racism on this soil..How Hillary tells time..

Whites like snapshots of reality, what have you done for me lately is often the paradigm whites operate from in race relations.. in other words a black person could make a mistake, or not measure up one time and whites will abandon, reject and kick them to to the curb despite in truth in a country like ours with it's depraved racial history it would take black folks hundreds of years to reach parity on the depraved racial level as whites..

In other words imagine race relations was Big Ben clock for 23 hours and 45 minutes white folks have fucked up our country.. I have 15 minutes to fix the insanity caused by whites... In race relations people like you, hillary, edwards, and others have been a part of the 23 hours and 45 minutes..

As I have posted many time if Hillary or any other white person really wanted to make a difference with regard to race relations than sacrifice something of value.. for her I say get on Obama's ticket.. no instead she wants to be a white privledged woman and get her Big Ben time..
