Makeover?
I'd love to think that even the GOP machine can't make one of these witless, Bible-thumping cadavers electable, that we've become smarter as a people since we elected George W. Bush in 2000 based on the all-important I'd Like to Have a Beer With Him Index, but I don't know.
After all, the RNC and Karl Rove managed to get us to vote for a stunningly incompetent and intellectually bereft ne'er do well, didn't they? But we couldn't be that stupid again.
Right? Right?
