But God approves and that's all that matters.
under the fist of the Democrat/Republican hegemonic stranglehold that there is no longer talk of impeachment.
I bet there not too different.
Oh, man -- I loved your including his horoscope for the day, Mr. Grieve! That cracked me up.
Let's see, since Bush has basically gotten away with everything Nixon would've loved to get away with, and since Nixon resigned six months after reaching this level in the polls, that can only mean that Bush, the anti-Nixon, will nullify elections in 2008 and stay on as President-For-Life. He's probably busy talking with Musharraf on the red phone, asking for pointers -- "Emergency measures...right. Got it."
Heh. Quote of the day!
Based on a Gallup chart, it appears that something like 15 percent of Americans still "strongly approve" of Bush's job performance. Roughly twice as many Americans believe in astrology.
...and the 15% percent boosters in the peanut gallery, cheered enthusiastically, "We're No. 1, We're No. 1, We're No. 1, hooray!".
Yet 75% of Republicans still approve of George W. Bush (33% moderately and 42% strongly).
64% of Republicans would still approve of George W. Bush if he ripped a fetus from the womb and ate it over dinner with Osama Bin Laden. [Okay, I made that one up.]
Dana Runs, according to a 1997 Gallup Poll, only 4% of people believed Elvis was still alive. 93% were certain he was dead. 3% were unsure. I don't know which group bothers me more: the 4% who think he's alive or the 3% who aren't sure.

Other fun facts: 16% of people believe evolution (described as the "idea that human beings developed over millions of years from less advanced forms of life") is probably false. 28% say it's definitely false.

and it wouldn't pit a dent into changing the way Congress does business. The country is run by corporate America, not the population. Give or take a stolen election , or two, it still wouldn't make a lick of diference. We, the people, do not have a say in the way it's run. Vote or no vote, the outcome is predictable and the last year or so of Democratic --led governance is the nauseating proof. What is amazing to me is that most americans probably still believe they have a say in it...
should help him out:
