  Of Course, It Was All Clinton's Fault (TM)

  "As a case in point, 9/11 was a direct result of the Clinton Administration’s feckless responses to the numerous Al-Qaida provocations and terrorist assaults against our national interests; as well as, Clinton’s inexplicable temerity in refusing to take Osama bin Laden into captivity when offered several times by the Sudanese."

  What a joke:

  1) If the threat, including actionable intelligence, was so obvious, then Bush had plenty of time between January 2001 and 9/11 to take OBL out and prevent the attacks. Clinton met with his terrorism advisers at least twice a week. Bush dismissed terrorism because Clinton made it a priority, assuming that because Clinton was a Democrat, he didn't know what he was talking about. Bush wanted to concentrate on China instead (remeber the incident with the collision of an American spy plane and a Chinese fighter?) Between Bush's inauguration and 9/11, he met with terrorism adviesrs exactly twice.

  2) You wanna talk about temerity? I have two words for you: Tora Bora.

  3) The real reason that we were attacked on 9/11, and a major contributing factor in other attacks abroad, is that some Middle Eastern people don't appreciate America's military presence in Middle Eastern countries. - If Russia or China made some back-door deals with our government to build air bases in America, what would you do? Would you sit by with your thumb up your ass or would you do something about it? If you would do something about it, then perhaps you're really not that different from the A-rabs who want the furriners out of their homelands...

  The joke continues:

  "Clinton then exercised little more than his jawbone as bin Laden trained literally thousands of terrorists in his Afghan camps."

  If I remember correctly, Bush was brave enough to show up at Ground Zero THREE DAYS after the attacks. He exercised his jawbone through a bullhorn and we've had nothing but happy talk from the administration ever since. By the way, literally thousands of terrorists are still being trained in camps. Why do you suppose this is still happening six years after the attacks? Why does one single terrorist training camp exist today?
