Everyone wants to be anonymous
I don't think you annoy people to no end posting annonymously, because well you remain annonymous and there is more than one person who posts anonymously, as you may have noticed. There is no you to you.
What's annoying are dumb ass comments, whether anonymous or not.
Your 4th point is generally the perception and probably mostly true, but only each anonymous poster knows their motives.
The anonymous "source" in the white house acknowledged Obama being intellectually gifted but then stated the issue was his laziness (you know how dose black people is, next thing you know we'll have the first preseedent to apply for welfare). But since the white house both has limited intellect as well as work ethic (this president took more vacation than any president in history), they might not want to be throwing stones.
