"Only officer prosecuted"...
This adminstration circumvented the law and raised a private army through Blackwater USA to perform much of its dirty work in Iraq, including torture at Abu Ghraib without government oversight. The identities of these hired mercinaries are unknown.
No one should be surprised that the only officer prosecuted was esentially let off the hook due to an alledged legal miscue. A few low level grunts were convicted and that's where blind justice will stop. The all volunteer Army is nothing more than fodder and political cover for a more complex agenda.
The Pentagon, this Administration, and our Congressional leaders will never allow us to know the true depth of the deception being perpetrated on the American public. That's why impeachment is off the table. I believe the dark truth is much more dangerous to our elected representatives if it were known. They are afraid, as well they should be.
