Robert Novak's very sad story

The columnist says Plamegate cost him a lot of money and his friendship with Karl Rove.

The letters thread is now closed.

Oh, Poor Baby!

Whatever in the world will poor Bobbie Novak do now that fascist swine Karl Rove no longer sends him the daily fax of talking points to copy down and report as breaking news? Jeez, he just might have to resort to making things up. But it won't have the same "zing" as Karl's stuff. Like: "If Democrats don't cave in to The Commander In Chief's request for legislation to allow him to do whatever the f*uck he pleases in tapping phones and emails, they they'll be seen for what they are: SOFT ON TERRORISM!!!!" And, "The surge is WORKING!" And, "We gotta fight them THERE cuz if we don't we'll have to fight them HERE."

Hmm

Let me get the tweezers out, so I can tune the world's smallest violin, and then play 'Hearts and Flowers' for him.

Because he needs one and he kills the other with the effluvia he exudes.

Required Labeling

"because a conservative label on someone would really be an impediment to their careers."

So is being a total douchebag.

Tuesday, August 7, 2007 07:57 AM

Conservatives are always the victims

And they keep lying about the so-called liberal media. I only wish that were true. The growth of the progressive blogosphere has been fueled in large part by the chronic pandering of the media to the rightwing.

Watching Novak cry in his beer however, is Schadenfreudilicious!!

Liberal media?

WTF? Do these dirtbags get a big bag of money or a pony every time they say "liberal media?" Because, that is the only reason I can think of for making such an asinine statement. Ever.

POOR ROBERT NOVAK

Novak is a living example of what is wrong with the media today. He is in the business for the money. He learned a long time ago that promoting a right wing agenda (not conservative) was worth a lot of money to him. He has become a multimillionaire as a result of his association with the right wing of the Republican party. In writing the article about Valerie Plame, he was doing the bidding of Dick Cheney every bit as much as Scooter Libby. You can bet the farm on the fact that if Wilson had been exposing a lie by a Democrat, Novak would have never outed the undercover CIA agent spouse.

It's called justice...

...you pathetic piece of shit. You're lucky it's no worse than it is; some surely feel that you deserve prison time and/or execution for your collusion with BushCo.

And as for this:

Novak declared that the news media is overrun by liberals and that it's pretty much impossible for conservatives to get jobs in journalism anymore.

Tell that to Glenn Beck, who has one of the worst rated news shows on the air, but still gets individual face time with the president.

Like most authoritarians in our midst, once they're caught, they're always the victim. I can't wait to hear Bush's squeals of protest when they cart him off to The Hague.

At least Novak is still breathing...

...which is probably a lot more that can be said for Plame's network of contacts this fool also helped out...

Tuesday, August 7, 2007 08:13 AM

go eff yourself Novak!

This man is a despicable piece of scum. Awwww, poor you, you lost your access to Turdblossom. Now you may have to think for yourself instead of parrotting what they tell you. What is truly an abomination is:1) we do not have a liberal media and 2) that this man was still employed to give his "opinions", even after the Plame outing and 3) he really hasn't suffered any consequences aside from a lack of dinner invites.

Novak

The Party of Personal Responsibility strikes again. I really am left to wonder how the Democrats allowed Republicans to slap the label of whiners on us. When a news outlet publishes a story that Republicans don't like: They whine. When they're prosecuted for committing crimes: They whine. When they're exposed as being the lying, cheating, self-righteous scum that they are: they whine. "It's so unfair. I ruined two people's careers by being a political lackey for Karl Rove, and now no one wants to talk to me."

Tell it to the Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame, Bob. Cause their lives are still in danger thanks to you.

A pox on his career, and good riddence to him.

Man, he's got some huge balls. Rove played him like a trumpet giving him his 15 minutes of glory by allowing him to commit treason by outting a CIA operative for this cynical administration's needs. They used him up and spit him out like all of the rest of their "yesterday's paper" stooges. Now he's surprised and blames the liberal press for his own demise. Man what a bunch of clueless humans. I can't wait to hear Tony-Baloney Snow's take on this cry baby.

Maybe next time he'll think twice before giving his life up to pathological liars, murders, and fear mongers. Liberal press. Give me a friggin' break....

I Love It

Novak has spent a career bashing liberals and carrying water for the Bushes. Now when he has no friends left (because even the narcissistic get tired of a suck-up after awhile), where does he turn for solace? THE LIBERALS!

That's right, there it is in black and white. The White House won't talk to him any more, and he blames the liberal media for not helping wipe his tears.

Poor little Robbie Novak

Poor little Robbie, kicked to the curb after outing Val and HUNDREDS of American men and women. At the time, these undercover operatives were imbedded in the enemy camp. One whisper of this news on the wind would cost them. Little Narc Robbie, hope the payoff was worth your hollow soul.

Poor Bob Novak's

friendship with Karl Rove won't ever be the same again? He's got to be kidding! In case he hasn't noticed Karl Rove has no friends. Neither does George Bush. They use people as long as they do their bidding and and when they are no longer useful they toss them in the trash.

How on earth can all these rightwingers (and some of the Dems for that matter) not notice when they are being used and abused?

Unbelievable.

Poor Novak

Robert Novak has been a shill for the reactionary, right wing of the Republican Party his whole 'career.' Apart from being a terrible 'writer', he neither is nor has ever been a serious, credible journalist. He has made his living as a 'leak' for the right wing, faithfully getting their lies and falsehoods into print. Nothing reported under his byline is true or believable. He got what he deserved in the Plamegate scandal and should do the right thing, and quit.
