Scooter stands today a convicted felon who had his sentence commuted, he can not practice law because of that felony conviction. BUT come Jan 2009 he can be restored good as new with a full pardon from his President. Indeed he will be good as new and although Tony Snow wants to paint the dreadful picture of scooter as martyr to the evil Dems. the other side of that coin is the iconic status he achieves in his circle of friends as being a "stand up guy" who took the best punch from his opponents and kept his mouth shut. There are elite watering holes all over Washington where he will never have to pay for another drink as long as he lives, such a punishment!!
