What are they saying about Scooter?

The letters thread is now closed.

Scooter

Instead of being locked up with the keys thrown away, good ole Georgyboy is going to parole him. Afterall with Rove getting away with revelations why should he be locked up. And GWB broke already many promises including going after those revealing names of CIA agents, why should there be an exception?

He's a nice Jewish boy

And this is all a terrible misunderstanding. The right thing to do is to let him go and put it all behind us.

Say, how's that AIPAC spy trial coming along? I sure don't hear much about its progress from the MSM.

Is Zionism by nature treasonous behavior? One wonders. We ought to round up all the Neocons and waterboard them @ Gitmo for a few decades just to be on the safe side.

Jews and neocons aren't the same thing

"Is Zionism by nature treasonous behavior? One wonders. We ought to round up all the Neocons and waterboard them @ Gitmo for a few decades just to be on the safe side."

I was trying to come up with a polite way to reply to this. Here's the best I can do. Some neocons are Jewish, but hardly all. I don't know what you think Zionism is. By the way, most American Jews are liberal. Something like 70% vote Democratic and have for a long time. Zionism has nothing to do with the subject of the blog post, what sentence Libby should get. Bringing it up out of context is what really made me notice.

On the contrary

Scooter's a Neocon. Neocons, by some amazing happenstance, appear to strive for the identical goals that Zionists espouse. You add it up, my math may be faulty.

Nice elephant in the middle of the living room, there. Oh, you never noticed it? Forget I said anything.

That's a GOP elephant

Oh yes, I noticed the elephant in the room. I know a GOP logo when I see it. I also know neocons are strong supporters of Israeli interests, as they define them. I'm not so convinced the Israelis have the same definition. I'm also sure PNAC had lots of gentile names attached. So where you're going off track is it isn't about Israel, it's about America and neocon dreams of American empire. To keep raising Zionism -- and I don't know what you mean by that -- tells me you're missing the point.

Gordon Wagner

Pray tell what Zionism has to do with Libbys naming names and than getting caught telling lies under oath to save his butt. On whose behalf did they start that story about Ambassor Wilson and his wife? Could it be good ole George W. (Dubyu Dumbo).

Fred are you in there?

I'm curious as to whether Fred Thompson wrote a letter in support of Scooter. Didn't Fred serve on Scooter's Legal Defense fund?
