Sorry you had to spend the Day in Bagdad

DICK. You shouldn't have used up all of your deferments the last time.

I wonder

if his bowels were moved?

Wednesday, May 9, 2007 11:17 AM

he was not moved...

Just to be clear - "he was not moved" means that they didn't move the meeting to a different location, right? Or does it mean that Dick is too thick skinned to get all emotional over deadly bombings?

an amazing bout of honesty from the Dick.

He actually said that he has no idea about the security situation, since he'd been in the Green Zone.

Granted, that's just bloody sad, but at least he was honest. For once. ever.

"Green Zone" = Führerbunker

It's been reported that Adolf Hitler spent his last days in the relative comfort of the Führerbunker below Berlin, and notably was even able to enjoy a dozen or more cups of tea each day while shelling relentlessly continued above ground.

I'll wager he was as "unmoved" by that shelling as Dick Cheney was by the nearby explosion today. When you're focused and determined, it's amazing how little reality can intrude into your thinking, isn't it?

It's quite a gift -- and Cheney himself is a special gift that KEEPS ON GIVING to our country. Lucky us.

He didn"t move

Mainly because he shit himself, old draftdodgers are known to do that.

Rich Emery

Hitler had 4 years frontline experience in WW I, he volontered for service in the German army in spite of his Austrian citizenship. Cheney was a draftdodger, a slight difference wouldn"t you say? And Hitler killed himself, Cheney shoots others instead.

Clean and jerk

He was not moved . His cleaning and feeding went well . All in all a happy pet .

how come he can't respond personally to the question of security

in the friggin' spot he's having lunch in, and yet can make grandiose pronouncements on al Qaida's role in pre war-of-choice Iraq?

Perhaps to the V.P. of Torture's surprise, first hand knowledge of security can be had, but at a slight cost. Might I suggest that cute little cafe' just outside the Green Zone where that "oversized" (oops, maybe it was tailored) flak jacket you were wearing would protect you about as much as any of those liberated Iraqis at open markets. Better order something small, and fast to eat Dicky. You might not have enough time for dessert. Maybe "smilin' jack" Meliki will enjoin...
