I've ceased to become surprised at this kind of news. It gives me a good chuckle, but I'm not surprised in the least.

This is something I've been wondering about ever since Salon published the "Diary of a DC Call Girl," a woman who described having sex with congressmen who, immediately after getting dressed again, who snap back to their pious and moralizing ways. After reading that article, I went to the local library, pulled down a copy of the DC Yellow Pages, and opened it to "Escort." It was packed with page after page of ads offering 24-hour service, discrete outcalls and the like. As I said, it seems to be a flamboyant display of "You peasants outside the Beltway do as I say, not as we do!"

Well, I'm disappointed in Salon's posters. Here are the questions they could have been asking...

* Did the aptly named Randy have only one "masseuse" come over at a time, or did he sometimes order-in tag teams?

* Were the delivery girls "specialists?" Did they arrive with a bag full of toys?

* Were they always "girls?"

* Were they dressed in SS uniforms?

* Did he put any of this on Uncle Sugar's credit card?

Has anyone done an FOIA for his travel records to see if he availed himself of midnight "snacks" while on the road, at taxpayers' expense?
