"military mission accomplished" and "mission accomplished" are too very different phrases.
Reid was right. We had done all we could do militarily- some would argue even more than we should have. Why do you think so many of the generals who served in Iraq said this surge would be counter-productive?
They had no plan other than to blow shit up. The military that Clinton fucked up marched right into Baghdad and overthrew the dictator. Then the circle jerk known as the Bush Administration said, "What the fuck do we do now, this is gonna take some thinkin'?"
