Senators to Gonzales: Start remembering

It's really beyond Gonzales at this point

My feeling of helplessness is somewhat reinforced by reading Leahy and Specter's note urging Gonzales to do a make-up test.

Clearly the bluff has been called. Gonzales came to the Hill without even a case, and what's Congress gonna do about it? Not much, probably.

    What can it do?

It could impeach Cheney. You don't need the Senate and it's filibustering ways to impeach. This administration is not only criminal, it gives Congress the bird on a regular basis. The House should just go ahead and hold painful hearings on all of Cheney's wrongdoing (he is the president after all) and then impeach him.
