Send That Man A Check
Since I don't really support the majors yet, I've been thinking about sending small checks, like $5 or $10, to candidates when I see them heading in a direction I think is positive.
I figure that if enough people do it, it will add up to a nice sum for the candidate and if enough people send in a small amount, it will tell them people are listening.
Rep. Dennis Kucinich deserves $15 for his noble effort in trying to bring these oligarchs to justice. I encourage others to do the same. If just 100 people sent in $10, that's $1000, 1000 checks is $10,000. Let 'We the People' get someone in the White House that really works for we, the people.

Dude, Kucinich for President
The thought of Bush, Cheney and Rove leaving office unscathed literally makes me sick to my stomach.
Right on about the message it sends to future presidents. Here it is: you can fuck up all you want, screw whomever you want, blatantly lie to the public's face, flout the Constitution and international treaties, invade countries willy nilly only to crash and burn- basically, fail spectacularly on all levels - and still not lose your job.
Go Dennis go. Excellent article in Esquire or GQ a month back detailing how and why Cheney has committed high crimes and misdemeanors.

Franken surely would approve
This thread reminds me of Al Franken's suggestion in "The Truth (with jokes)" that the first thing a new - far more heavily Democratic - Congress should do on being installed in 2009, is impeach Bush. Though it would remove Bush for just a few weeks, Franken argues, persuasively I think, that there would be tremendous value in such a clear act of censure for all the misdeads of two horrible terms. If Kucinich could manage this censure earlier, all the better.

Quixote Kucinich
Dennis Kucinich, the sole Congressman without ties to corporate demands and fearless in the face of his own party's centrist corruption, may seem the fool to jaded reporters but his quixotic honesty and fortitude should be revered as a last vestige of true democratic dissent.
