Lessons of the Past?
"They haven't learned the lessons of the past."
Just let that sit there for a while and resonate.
Okay, now insert your own Pot/Kettle joke.

speechless
I'm grateful to Salon for giving me enough Limbaugh to have a clear sense of what he's about.
Sure, I've listened to him. A little. Not much though. I can't take it. He's a dishonest putz, from first word to last, distorting with every word that drops out of his face. I vowed not to waste time on such people a long time ago, but, I admit, it's good to know the enemy. I just can't face it. Were I to listen to him for very long, I'd blow a blood vessel.
This particular exchange left me utterly speechless. Time was, when this kind of stuff was considered fringe lunacy. Now it's front-and-center. The McCarthy-ites in power. Funny how the spiritual descendents of Joe M. never gave up.
I just hope we are able to push these lunatics out to the fringe once again, and soon. And keep them there. To me, Rush himself is the moral equivalent of Alfred Rosenberg, and his radio show not dissimilar in form and function to the "Volkischer Beobachter." And if you think I'm exaggerating, go read a few issues.
Rush is a dangerous liar. The fact that our society has not rejected him and everything he stands for is an indictment of all of us as much as it is an indictment of him and his ilk.

Has the FCC Been Alerted?!
I mean, really, somebody should report the fact that Rush Limbaugh slorped Cheney's cock on live, nationally broadcast radio!

Cheney Confirms Limbaugh's Assertion
These cowards (the Bush administration) need to be held accountable for what they're having their proxies say.
By not disavowing Limbaugh's assertion that Reid and Pelosi want "to make sure we come home defeated," Cheney clearly confirms the statement.
Rush is only doing what he is told by his owners who hold his leash (again, the Bush administration).
Cheney allowing Limbaugh to do the dirty work is reminiscent of Cheney's entire life. The man is an absolute coward.
If Pelosi and Reid are unwilling to take of the gloves after comments like this, than they are the same.

And one more thing...
with all due respect Alex, I don't think Cheney was "dancing" at all. This was very well orchestrated and played out exactly as planned.
The message was perfectly conveyed to the listeners, and Cheney- hiding behind Rush- maintains plausible deniability.
Again with all due respect, it fooled you, Alex. You put the words in Rush's mouth, not Dick's.
Dich needs to "step up to the plate" and take accountability for his pet's actions.

Hey you guys. You missed the part where Dick agreed w/ Pigman- Dems=Stalinists
Eventually, Pigman wore Big Dick down and Big Dick couldn't resist this vulgar little bit.
At end of interview....
I paraphrase but the gist is true
Subject: recess apt of the swift boat guy (Ross?)
Pigman: "well you may not use my word... bla bla bla but the Dems are Stalinists...
Big Dick: " That's right......"
The big dick did not even skip a beat. Awsome!

Ya gotta love it....
A guy who filed five draft deferments and finally got his wife pregnant to stay out of the Army, and a guy who told his draft-board doctor that he had some sort of awful medical condition to get a draft deferment, and the two of them are sitting there gassing about how "Democrats want us to pack it in and come home in defeat." I mean, ya gotta love it.

I wonder if....
Rush has an intern that has to clean the foam and spittle off his mike. The guy's rabid. And insane. And insanely rabid.

What does "victory" mean?
I want to know what "Victory in Iraq" means. As I see it, that is the key to this debate.
Does it mean pretend elections? Does it mean a chicken in every pot? Does it mean the utter destruction of the Mahdi Army? Does it mean the utter destruction of the nation of Iraq?
The BCF doesn't have a definition for this. When they talk about "coming home defeated," someone need to press them on the details of what would result in "coming home victorious." Then the hollowness of their position would be evident.

asked the vice president what Limbaugh's listeners could do to help the president
Who are his listeners anyway? Sure he still has a sizable audience, but by this point they're a cult not a movement. Does anyone really care about this bloward, drug-addled, limp-dicked creep anymore?
What did cheney really accomplish with this? Nothing. "what Limbaugh's listeners could do to help." His listeners are bitter, lazy, hatefull losers living out their mean-spirited, bigoted lives through a bombastic drug addict. They can't do anything.

Cheney: "I've got some friends on the other side of the aisle"
You hear that, Connecticut? He's talking about you.
