Why This Is An Issue
Bob-you can try to repeat what remains of the lame "why is this an issue" as long as you want. This is an issue for several reasons:
1) Can we be certain at this point that these USAs were fired in order to forestall criminal investigations/prosecutions of Republicans or Republican supporters?
2) Who urged removal? Gonzo, Reid, or Rove? If Gonzo, not a problem. If Reid? If Rove? I think that we need a little more information; not with a closed door; but under the lights and in full view.
3) Actually a subset of above, but the more the WH pushes back, the more I wonder what else is there. A fishing expedition is fine with me. Remember the Whitewater fishing trip that turned into hearings on a blow job?
4) Rove/Bush/Cheney are criminals. Simple as that. They need to be stopped before the republic is destroyed.
