"You've got to hand it to the mainstream press for getting Bush this far. Their meekness and docility buoyed a flagging presidency early in the game: he couldn't have done it without them. A shame the mainstream press can't be voted out of office -- then again, their ever-dropping circulation rates sounds like people are voting against them, after all. Do better, mass media, or we'll put you all out of business."
