And if the Democrats let him keep his seniority positions, they need to go...

Lieberman is no longer a Democrat. He should be stripped of his committee positions, and financing, etc.

Let the "Connecticut for Lieberman" party assign his committee positions and pay his bills...

Now I'm channeling Faith Hill at the CMA's last night, mouthing (with visual exasperation) "WHAT!!!"

the GOP...dicks to the end

the GOP dicks us again.

Lieberman is pure scum. It's a terrible thing to say, but for being such a quisling, I hope something bad happens to him. He deserves it. What a prick.

Let It Go

The Dems may need Lieberman to get to 51 votes in the Senate. If we need him, then they should give him whatever he wants. Yes, it sucks, but it may be either that or watching Dick Cheney cast the deciding vote on every Senate bill for at least two years.

Hoping that Lieberman won't be the 51st "Democrat"

As a Connecticut Democrat who voted for Lamont in both elections, I have to say I actually hope we don't end up with exactly 50 "real Democrats" in the Senate. That snake's ego is already unchecked; it would sicken me to see the Democrats kotow to him if he were to become necessary for a majority. Better to have 49, and remove him from the party for good.
