So why is Holy Joe, self-appointed judge of morality, now trying to protect House Speaker Dennis Hastert? Why doesn’t he want Democrats to demand answers about the Republican leadership protecting ex-Congressman Foley when they knew he had been sexually harassing Congressional pages? By giving them aid and comfort, Lieberman appears to be enabling the Republican cover-up. Why in the world would he do that? Unless he's a turncoat.
